The skies are finally blue, the temps are rising – summer is upon us!
And, as moms, these are often the days where we just want to be comfy.
But that doesn’t mean we have to completely give up on style.
Below, you’ll find my easy tips for looking AND feeling good all summer long.
1) Throw some color in the mix.
Take your basics and add a pop of something fun, like these coral shorts or my Noonday necklace. It’s still comfortable, but takes that everyday outfit up just a notch.
2) Add a hat.
Let’s face it, we’re not getting any younger. You should be wearing a hat (according to my doctor) any time you step outside. It helps that there are so many cute ones available, like the fedora above.
3) Layer on some jewels.
I love a great tank top. And paired with some long strands around your neck, they go from summer staple to summer stunner. Just make sure they’re nice and sturdy if you’ve got a baby on your hip!
4) Wear a scarf.
Scarves aren’t just for the chillier months. There are tons of options for airy and breathable fabrics that’ll add some extra color to your ensemble without making you sweat. This one is a favorite of mine. Or you can find the one pictured above here.
5) Don a dress.
Sundresses are my absolute FAVORITE thing to wear all summer long. A soft cotton one can’t be beat – and is as comfy as wearing pajamas (without the judgy glances you’d get should you actually hit the farmer’s market in your jammies). A classic tank style looks easy breezy chic and effortless every time.
