There’s a wealth of Halloween activities in the Twin Cities. Map out your Trick or Treating plan with this easy guide to all things Halloween in the metro area!

October 25: Big Parade of Little People | 1:15pm-3:00pm Join the fun and watch one of our oldest parades as our local school children walk down Main Street in their best costumes!

October 25: Little Goblins Costume Party | 6:30-8:00pm Ghosts, goblins, and more! Join us in your favorite costume for a night of fun! We will have a variety of themed carnival games and crafts. Refreshments will be provided and you can even take a photo with our special photo backdrop. Wargo Nature Center staff will lead a flashlight hike and a look at the stars. Don’t forget your camera! Note: Parents/guardians are encouraged to dress in their favorite costume as well. Please make sure all costumes are family appropriate; no costumes with weapons. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Children ages 8 years and younger are welcome. Pre-registration is required.

October 26: Tamarack Trick or Treat | 3:00-5:30pm Bring your favorite little goblin to a Halloween party designed just for them. Deliberately low-key, this non-spooky event includes games, old-fashioned, hand-pressed cider and close encounters with live animals. Enjoy friendly costumed characters handing out treats along our prairie loop trail and spend time in Discovery Hollow. *This is a very popular event, and a waitlist is all that is open at this time.

October 26: Big Woods Halloween | 10:00am-3:00pm Try carnival games and a pumpkin scavenger hunt. Survive a challenge on a giant web walk. Meet live animals, collect treats from costumed animals, and visit the Skull Lab and Gross-out Grotto. Brew something by the cauldron and watch a silly puppet show. Refreshments included for adults and kids. Reservations recommended. Children under 2 free. Ages 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

October 26: Halloween Fun in Osseo | 11:00am-1:00pm This year’s FREE event promises to be filled with fun activities and games, free photo opportunity courtesy of the Osseo Lions Club. AND, let’s not forget the Central Avenue Trick’o’Treat Small Business BOO Tour with participating local businesses! The Boo Tour starts sharply at 11AM at the Osseo Community Center and continues up and down Central Avenue to participating local businesses. Those participating businesses will have signage to let the Trick’or’Treators know of their participation! Costumes are NOT required, but we look forward to seeing the cute costume ideas from those who really want to get into the fun. We will also be collecting school supply donations at this event to benefit HOME FREE, a domestic violence shelter in Hennepin County.

October 26: Hocus Pocus Movie Night | 5:00-7:30pm Join your favorite Sanderson sisters during Hocus Pocus movie night. Come early for Dress As Your Favorite Witch Costume Contest, then finish off the night with a showing of the Hocus Pocus the movie. Bring your friends, a date or even the whole family!

October 26: Fall Festival on Main Street | 10:00am-2:00pm This is a FREE trick-or-treating event that allows your entire family to dress to impress! Stop into every Main Street business that has a “Trick-or-Treat” Jack-o-lantern sign in their window and get a special treat! Our participating Main Street businesses have gone all out to show how much we appreciate our community. The festival takes place on Main Street, from Elm Creek Blvd to Arbor Lakes Parkway and beyond. And be sure to enter our social media costume contest to win a bundle of Arbor Lakes goodies!

October 26: Boo Bash | 1:00-3:00pm Head to the Bruentrup Farm for a FREE family-friendly event for all ages! Join us at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm for a FREE family friendly event for all ages! Costumes are encouraged but not required. This event will be held outdoors so please dress for the weather. Activities include: live animals from Audubon Society, petting zoo, wagon rides, taxidermy, scavenger hunt, games and crafts!

October 26: Trunk or Treat at Wayzata Free Church | 2-4pm Don’t miss our 7th annual Trunk or Treat event! Stop by and go trunk-to-trunk in our family-friendly parking lot (and indoors). This event includes free candy, inflatables, interactive games and more!

October 31: Halloween Party | 6:00-8:00pm Enjoy an evening of entertainment and fun; Circus Manduhai Show from 7:00-7:45pm, Halloween treats, balloon animals and refreshments.  Get into the Halloween spirit with this free community event.  This event is sponsored by the Vadnais Heights Fire Relief Association and the Vadnais Heights Parks and Recreation Department.

October 31: Mall Wide Trick or Treating | 5:00-8:00pm Spend this Halloween in and away from the cold. On Halloween night from 5-8 p.m. join Rosedale Center and participating retailers in mall-wide trick-or-treating. Feel free to come dressed up in your best Halloween costume! Masks are not allowed. Participating retailers will be handing out candy.

October 26:  Pumpkin Fest | 11:00-3:00pm Free admission to a petting zoo as well as free pumpkins!

October 26: Creatures of the Night | 6:00-8:00pm Go for a night hike and learn how animals have adapted to the night and how darkness can play tricks on our senses. Ages 5 and older.

October 26: Halloween Bash | 5:00-8:00pm This spooktacular event takes place inside the Savage Sports Center, which is located within Savage Community Park. This event provides families a fun and safe fall event where they can participate in a variety of games, inflatables, a DJ, a campfire with s’mores, and more; all while enjoying kid-friendly refreshments available for purchase and entertainment. Don’t forget to wear your costume! Walk-ins cost $10 per person.

October 26: Trick or Treat Downtown Shakopee | 10:00am-12:00pm Trick or Treat in Downtown Shakopee is held annually on Halloween weekend and gives parents and kids a safe place to “run amok” and get some treats as well!

October 26: Boo Bash at Prince of Peace | 10:00am-12:00pm Dress up and experience spook-tacular fun with games, crafts and trick or treating and other snacks. No cost to join the fun but donations of toothpaste/toothbrushes are welcome in support of Mission Outpost.

October 26: Trunk or Treat at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church & School | 3:00-6:00pm This fun and FREE event is for individuals and families of all ages. Come anytime while they are open and enjoy “trunk or treating” at the decorated cars and stations in our West parking lot. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Non-scary costumes are encouraged. Games, fun and more…DON’T miss it! NEW this year Good Shepherd is supporting 360 Communities with a food drive at Trunk or Treat. They are asking participants to bring a non-perishable food or personal care item to benefit this fantastic charity.

October 27: Trunk or Treat in Farmington | 4:00-6:00pm Trunk or Treat* in Farmington! 3rd Annual event hosted by Faith Church UM and Trinity Lutheran and more! Two parking lots and lots of trunks, plus several other churches and businesses/organizations will also be involved. Trunks and treats outside, tables, treats and games inside. Vote on your favorite trunks! Allergy safe non-food treats will be available.

October 27: Grace Lutheran Church of Apple Valley Trunk or Treat | 3:45-5:00pm Looking for a FREE, SAFE, family-friendly way to trick-or-treat? Children ages 5th grade and under are invited to dress in costume and come Trunk-or-Treat in the church parking lot! Trunk-or-Treat cars will be parked in an area of the parking lot that will be blocked from incoming cars. Arrive at 3:45 pm to decorate trunks, then at 4:00 pm watch the parking lot come to life with all sorts of creatures! Families will then walk from trunk to trunk to collect candy! Trunk-or-treating will go from 4-5pm, or until trunks run out of candy.

October 27: Halloween Hodgepodge | 3:00-6:30pm Children and adults dress up in costumes to take part in this Eagan Halloween tradition. Enjoy free trick or treat bags while supplies last, carnival games, inflatables, face painting, FREE Blast indoor playground admission, a glow-in-the-dark dance and more! October 31: Candy Crawl | 10:00am-2:00pm Start your Candy Crawl at Prior Lake City Hall to trick-or-treat, vote on decorated pumpkins and pick up your Candy Crawl Map! After City Hall venture to the Police Station and library building for the first few stops on the Candy Crawl. Your Candy Crawl Map will lead you on an adventure downtown to participating businesses. Wear your costumes! FREE and no registration required.

October 31: Trick-or-Treat at City Hall | 3:00-4:30pm Calling all ghosts, goblins, superheros, princesses, unicorns, wild animals and more! Before heading out for a night of Halloween trick-or-treating, we invite you to stop by Shakopee City Hall to show off your costumes and leave with some treats.

October 31: Trick or Treat at Valley Ridge | 3:30-5:30pm Bring your little ghosts and goblins to trick or treat and enjoy fall snacks and beverages with the residents of Valley Ridge!

October 26: Boo-Ology | 12:00pm-4:00pm It’s not scary, it’s science! Creep on in for lots of spooky hands-on science activities and events. Kids under 12 in costume get free museum admission! Festivities are included in museum admission.

October 26: Afton Trick or Treat Trail | 11:00am-2:00pm Calling all ghosts, goblins, and princesses! Dress in your best Halloween garb and stroll through Afton. Visit all the “Trick or Treat Stations” as you follow St. Croix Trail through Afton. Family fun including costume contest, scream for ice cream contest, & photo booth!

October 26: Bruentrup Boo Bash | 1:00-3:00pm This is a FREE family friendly event for all ages! Costumes are encouraged but not required.  This event will be held outdoors, please dress for the weather. Enjoy a petting zoo, wagon rides, stories, scavenger hunt, crafts, prizes, and concessions available for purchase!

October 26-27: Trick or Treat on Main Street | 12:00-4:00pm Trick or Treat on Main Street this weekend! Dress the kids up and Discover Downtown Stillwater. Participating merchants will have a Trick or Treat sign in windows of their store or restaurant. Spend a day discovering all the treats Downtown Stillwater’s independent businesses have to offer. Start/Stop wherever you’d like!

October 27: Trick-or-Treating at FAC | 4:00pm-5:00pm Join the Family Achievement Center for a fun, indoor trick or treating event! Open house style from 4-5 PM. This event is open to all and is sensory & allergy friendly, as well as handicap accessible! NEW THIS YEAR ***Sensory Sensitive Event from 3:00-3:45 PM*** Will be sensory sensitive, allergy friendly, handicap accessible, no flashing lights or music. Registration required to limit crowds/lines and space is limited for the sensory sensitive portion of the event so sign up is required. Please e-mail [email protected] to register.

October 27: Great Pumpkin Halloween Celebration | 1:00-3:00pm Enjoy Halloween festivities at Landmark Center with live entertainment, crafts, treats, and a costume parade.

October 29: Halloween Event at Jerry’s Foods in Woodbury | 6:00-8:00pm Join us for lots of Halloween surprises!

October 31: West St Paul Halloween Extravaganza | 6:00-8:00pm Free and open to all! Costume contest at 7pm, free hot dogs, bonfires, trick or treat trail, photo booth, and coloring contest all included. Police and fire fighters will be there with a squad car and fire truck! Food donations accepted. Pick up a coloring sheet at City Hall (1616 Humboldt Ave) or print your own from the website above.

October 25: The “Not So Scary” Halloween Party | 6:00-8:00pm SCalling all little ghosts and goblins: join us for the Not-So-Scary Halloween Party from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. Enjoy trick-or-treating, games, a craft station, a family-friendly magic show by Brian Richards! Partygoers will have exclusive use of the playpark during the event.Cost is $10 per child if registered by Oct. 24. Registration on the day of the event is $11 per child.

October 26: The Great Pumpkin Festival at The Shops at West End | 10:00-1:00 This is a FREE Event where you can enjoy Trick or Treating at participating stores and restaurants at The Shops at West End! Kid are encouraged to dress up. Entertainment, music, games and prizes provided by the Twin Cities Road Crew. Bounce House, balloons, crafts and more!

October 26: Spooky Saturday | Enjoy trick-or-treating, arts-and-craft activities, music, games and climbing in the Prairie Play Zone. Event appropriate for ages 1–10.

October 26: Halloween Event at Jerry’s Foods Eden Prairie | 11:00am-1:00pm We’ll have treats throughout our store and in the mall! Kids activities including cookie decoration and face painting. Come dressed in your costumes! This is a FREE family-friendly event! Jerry’s reusable shopping bags to first 100 kiddos!

October 26: 50th & France Pumpkin Fest | 10:00am-1:00pm Join 50th & France for the 37th Annual Pumpkin Fest! Trick-or-treating in the area, including Halloween and fall-themed activities for kids! West 50th Street between France Avenue and Halifax Avenue will be closed with activities.

October 26: Enchanted Forest Halloween | 5:00-9:00pm Dress up the whole family for trick-or-treating along an enchanted trail with large costumed animals. Enjoy storytelling, live music, crafts, cookies, and carnival games. Enter the Mad Scientist’s tent for a crazy skit and be entertained by a silly puppet show. Food concessions available. Children under 2 free. Ages 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

October 26: Halloween in Hopkins | 10:00am-3:00pm The third annual Halloween in Hopkins is happening October 26! Come to downtown to take part in the fun including kids games, trick-or-treating, and more!

October 26: Not-So-Scary Nature Trail | 6:00-9:00pm Halloween doesn’t have to be scary. Come to the Outdoor Center to learn about all the not-so-scary things associated with Halloween. During the educational event, walk the lantern-lit trail and learn about bats, owls, snakes, eagles and so much more, while collecting a Halloween treat at each station. Staggered start times are offered so younger children can attend early and the more adventurous in the dark. Children must have an adult present. Register each child for one timeslot only. Adults attend free.

October 27: Trunk or Treat King of Grace Lutheran Church | 3:30-5:00pm Trunk or Treat at King of Grace, fun for kids of all sizes! Dress up and decorate your trunk, and you could win great prizes. Enjoy hot dogs for dinner, play some games and bring candy to share.

October 27: Family Halloween Bash | 4:00-6:00pm Grab your little ghouls and goblins for our annual Halloween Bash. We’ll have a balloon drop, costume parade, pumpkin painting, and more. Celebrate Halloween with the whole family right here at the Pub!

October 27: Trunk ‘N Treat at St Johns | 3:00-4:30pm Come one come all to this annual community event! Gather family, friends, and neighbors and meet in the St. John’s upper parking lot (near the Shirley Hills Parking lot) for Tricks and Treats! This year we are also participating in the teal pumpkin program. Each trunk will also have a teal pumpkin that you can choose a candy from that will be allergy friendly.

October 29: Toddler Tuesdays: Nick Jr. Halloween Bash | 10:00am-12:00pm Join us for our Toddler Tuesdays® Halloween Monster Bash! The morning will be filled with a ghostly good time! First pick up your treat bag + map to treat stations in the Rotunda, then head to treat stations throughout Nickelodeon Universe. Need to rest up from Trick or Treating? Catch our Nick Jr. Halloween Episodes up on the big screen + meet some of your favorite characters with their Halloween costumes on.

October 31: Halloween at the Eden Prairie Mall | 5:00pm-7:30pm Bring the kids to the mall in costume for a night of safe trick-or-treating. Meet Eden Prairie police officers and firefighters, trick-or-treat at participating mall merchants and enjoy live entertainment in Center Court. No masks allowed on teens and adults.

The Great Pumpkin Fest at Valley Fair NOW-October 27 | During the day, tiny terrors can join Snoopy and the rest of the PEANUTS gang for some not-so-scary Halloween activities for kids at The Great Pumpkin Fest! Enjoy your favorite rides, live entertainment, and great fall activities at The Great Pumpkin Fest.

Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular NOW-Nov 3 | Times VaryAn enchanted forest, nestled in the heart of the Zoo, plays host to this strolling exhibit. The trail features over 5,000 illuminated pumpkins of all different sizes, shapes, and faces creatively carved and displayed from ground to tree-top. A variety of musical vignettes and fog make the perfect backdrop for a special date night or family-friendly fall outing.

Boo Blast at Lunds & Byerlys | Dates and times dependent on location Kids are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes and join us for free tricks and treats and other fun activities.

Halloween Parties and Activities at Hy-Vee | Dates and times dependent on location Join your local Hy-Vee store on October 26 from 1-3 PM for our annual Kids Halloween Party! Halloween themed activities will be available for kids of all ages. Activities include coloring, cookie decorating and mini pumpkin decorating. Plus, receive a free Halloween bag while supplies last.

Paint a Pumpkin at MOA | Times and Dates Vary Join Hagen and Oats to Paint a Pumpkin every Tuesday + Wednesday in October. Walk-ins welcome anytime from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Pumpkins start at $10. Paint + supplies included. See an associate at Hagen and Oats for details.

Trick or Treat at Cub Foods October 26 | 11:00am-1:00pm Calling all ghouls and goblins! Grab your costumes and head to your favorite Cub store. The first 100 kids at each store will receive a FREE trick or treat bag! There will be trick-or-treating throughout the store with random costume prizes and pumpkin decorating. And don’t forget to pick up great deals on Halloween candy while you’re at the store.

Boo Blast at Kowalski’s October 29 | 4:00-7:00pm Calling All Ghosts, Goblins, Witches & Ghouls! Join us for goodies that include candy, healthy snacks, & other kid-friendly items. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

Halloween Spooktacular October 26-28 | Times Vary Wear your costume, trick or treat, join the costume parade and enjoy other spooktacular activities at this oh-so-fun, not-so-scary Halloween event. Tickets are $17 for non-members/$12 for members.
