Throw on your best red, white, and blue and celebrate the 4th of July at one of these family-friendly celebrations in the Twin Cities! From fireworks and parades to live music and great food, you can enjoy the sights of the season at an event near you!

Anoka’s 25th Annual Fireworks Display | Anoka Fireworks will light up the night sky on Monday, July 3rd at Castle Field (600 Castle Field Blvd/7th Ave.).

Blaine Fireworks | Blaine Fireworks will launch on July 4th from the National Sports Center at 10pm. Visit the website for parking and safety information!

Coon Rapids 4th of July Celebration | Coon Rapids Special events held July 2nd, 3rd and 4th including a carnival, parade, car show, live music, 5K, fun run, fireworks, and more! Full details available on the website.

Forest Lake 4th of July | Forest Lake Events held from June 30 – July 4th include a carnival, street dance, bingo, parade, food & fireworks!

Ham Lake Freedom Festival | Ham Lake Check out the popular Freedom Festival with a craft market, kids activities, dunk tank, bingo, live music and fireworks on Saturday, July 1st!

Rosefest – July 4 Party in the Park Roseville Head on over to Roseville’s Central Park for a party. With food vendors, carnival games, inflatable fun and fireworks!

Afton 4th of July Parade | Afton The Afton parade is back for 2023 starting at 1pm you can enjoy food, drinks, music and trolley rides on Afton Main Street!

Hometown Celebration | Woodbury At the HealthEast Sports Center on July 4th, your family can enjoy concessions, kids activities, live music and fireworks.  Free splash pad is also always open!

July 4th Light it Up | Maplewood Check out Hazelwood park starting at 4pm for food trucks, family games and activities, adult beverages and fireworks!

White Bear Lake 4th of July Fireworks | White Bear Lake Enjoy fireworks and a flyover from West Park, Memorial Beach or Ramsey Beach.

Stillwater 4th of July Celebration | Stillwater The City of Stillwater puts on a huge fireworks display over the St. Croix river offering views from anywhere downtown and live music in Lowell Park and Pioneer Park.

4th of July Hometown Celebration | Eden Prairie Visit Round Lake for 4th of July fun! Activities will be held on the 3rd and 4th including children’s entertainment, live music, beach open for swimming and picnics, and fireworks will round out the evening at dusk.

Chanhassen’s 4th of July Celebration | Chanhassen From July 2 – July 4 you can enjoy live music, local food vendors, a complete carnival, street dance, kids’ activities, a parade and so much more!

Edina 4th of July Celebration | Edina Parade will be held July 4th at 10am! Fireworks will be held July 3rd at Rosland Park.

Lake Minnetonka 4th of July | Minnetonka / Excelsior Enjoy Firecracker runs, a kids parade, popsicle social, and fireworks!

Lake Waconia Fireworks Festival | Waconia Fireworks begin at dusk. Check out the website for a list of good places to view them!

St. Louis Park Fireworks Celebration | St. Louis Park Have a night to remember with your family and friends watching one of the best fireworks shows in the Twin Cities! There will be food trucks, vendors, and fireworks to music! DJ Bob entertainment 7 – 10 p.m. Fireworks begin promptly at 10 p.m. Rain date is July 5.

4th of July Fireworks at Valleyfair | Shakopee Valleyfair’s fireworks show is back and bigger than ever. So bring the whole family to the park to enjoy a day spent on all your favorite thrills, cool off in Soak City Waterpark, and then cap off the night with a fireworks display to celebrate America’s birthday!

Eagan Funfest | Eagan  Eagan Funfest has fantastic food, exceptional entertainment, a carnival for the kids, an exciting Ambassadors coronation, one of the largest parades in the Twin Cities, and of course an amazing array of fireworks. Takes place over 3 days in 2 locations, check out their website for all the details!

Freedom Days | Apple Valley Events will be held from June 28th to July 1st! Car show, parade, fishing contest, and fireworks. See their website for a specific events schedule!

Happy Birthday America Parade | Shakopee March with us as we celebrate America’s birthday during this long-standing Shakopee tradition. Bring your decorated trikes, bikes, wagons, etc. Afterward, cool off with a refreshing Popsicle!

Lil Sparkler Celebration | Richfield Events on June 28, 29, and 30th and include a medallion hunt, food vendors, City vehicles on display, a kids dance, a breakdancing show, movie in the park, a ceremony to honor our veterans on July 4th, and more!

Pan O Prog | Lakeville A week FULL of fun! Fireworks will take place on July 4th. From July 7-16th, you can enjoy all sorts of festivities including bingo, bowling, live music, a carnival, cruise night car show, fireworks, parade, and more! Visit their website for a complete schedule.

Rock and Rockets | Shakopee Our free Rocket and Rockets Fourth of July celebration will feature music, food and fireworks. Rock out to live bands, try treats from local food trucks and watch the skies sparkle!

Summer Fete | Bloomington Join us Monday, July 3, 5 – 10:30 p.m. for what has become the true “ringing in” of Independence Day in the Twin Cities. This festival, which culminates in one of the State of Minnesota’s largest fireworks displays, takes place annually on July 3 at Normandale Lake Park, W. 84th Street and Normandale Blvd.

4th in the Park | St. Paul One of the longest running parades in Minnesota! Kick things off with an early morning distance race. Enjoy the colorful parade and stake out a patch of grass to enjoy an afternoon of music, games, volleyball & horseshoe tournaments. End the day at our Back to the 4th Happy Hour, featuring Bob & the Beachcombers! Parade starts at 11am.

Tangletown Neighborhood 4th of July | Minneapolis (Fuller Park) With live music, food trucks, snow cones, inflatables, balloon art, face painting and a parade!
