The Easiest Beauty DIY You’ll Ever Do In Your Life

I’m about to change your life with one little ingredient.

Cornstarch.

Why is this life changing, you ask?

Here’s the thing. My husband, an oh-so-responsible fella, seems to think it’s important for this family to stay on a budget. And while I agree, there are important purchases to make, like super expensive translucent face powders.

I mean, a translucent powder minimizes pores and fine lines, absorbs oils, and prolongs the life of the makeup you’ve taken the time to apply that day. You can also wear it alone on your skin if you want an easy, natural look. AND translucent powders work for every skin type.

So, it’s worth taking a chunk out of the budget, right?

Unless you’d rather steal my trick – cornstarch.

I’ve been using it in place of powder for the last several months, after running out and reading that it works as a replacement.

And I have to say, I like it better.

I also love that there are no hidden ingredients – I know exactly what’s going on my face. Plus, it costs mere pennies to use, as a big old container is about $2, and will last you approximately a million years (please don’t hold me to that timeframe – I’m terrible at estimates. but it’s gonna last a really long time, promise).

Homemade Translucent Face PowderSo there you go – the easiest beauty DIY you’ll ever do. You’re welcome.
