Feel Better, Do Better: A Health and Wellness Pep-Talk for Moms {Part 5}

Feel Better, Do Better | Twin Cities Moms Blog

Raise your hand if one of your New Year’s resolutions was to lose weight or achieve a certain fitness goal! Come on! Most of us (me too) probably have our hands raised. But if you’re finding that it’s been an ongoing struggle to get those last few pounds off or to get the sleek, curvy shape you want, you’re certainly not alone. Sometimes those pesky love handles, bra rolls or that belly pooch just don’t respond to traditional weight loss methods no matter how hard you try, so don’t feel discouraged! We have a new weapon to use in our battle of the bulge!

In my last post in this series, we talked about HCG Weight Loss Therapy and how it can be a great tool for moms who are having trouble reaching their weight loss goals through diet and exercise alone. Another viable option for women who feel like they’ve already done all that they can on their own to hit their fitness goals is CoolSculpting.

CoolSculpting is a nonsurgical, body contouring tool that uses a process called cryolipolysis, which is a fancy way of saying fat freezing technology. Believe it or not, this phenomenon was discovered by two Harvard physicians who noticed that children who were eating popsicles had targeted fat loss in their cheeks, causing them to dimple. More research lead to the development of the CoolSculpting technology. The key is that the CoolSculpting device is able to deliver controlled cooling so that only the stubborn fat cells in the targeted area are treated, leaving your skin and surrounding tissue unharmed. And, since it’s nonsurgical, CoolSculpting can be the perfect solution for busy moms who might not have the time for a surgical procedure at this stage of life.

So if you’ve been hitting the gym hard since January but aren’t quite seeing the dramatic results you’d hoped for, know that you do have some options. Like our HCG Weight Loss Program, CoolSculpting isn’t a stand-in for a healthy diet and exercise routine, but it can be an excellent tool to help you hone in on your fitness goals and give your self-confidence a boost.

While you are by no means defined by the number inside your jeans, you also shouldn’t feel hopeless when dieting and exercise aren’t producing the results you’ve been working so hard to achieve. Before losing hope, give CoolSculpting a try, then keep up with your awesome eating and workout schedule all year long.

Remember, do better, feel better! More to come!
