The Santa Experience | The Hitching Company
Join Santa for our Annual Santa Experience. Create wonderful memories with Santa in his sleigh, and make sure to have your camera so Santa’s Elves can capture the magic for you. After visiting with Santa, enjoy a festive horse-drawn wagonette ride. Holiday treats and a special Christmas ornament craft will be provided as a gift from Santa. Saturdays and Sundays in December.

The Hitching Company offers horse-drawn carriage rides all season long! This is a plus, since we may not see snow anytime soon! They offer three different tours; The Mississippi River Tour, City Lights on the River Tour, and The North Loop Tour. Make sure to check out their website for prices, as they vary depending on specific tours.
Sleigh Rides | Roselawn Stables
Come and enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime experience of dashing through the snow with a horse-drawn sleigh! If you are searching for a special memory to share with your family, friends, or that special someone, check out the sleighs available at Roselawn Stables. These stables are located less than an hour from the Twin Cities area, and the drive is worth it! Their options range from their Enchanted Sleigh, designed for groups of up to 4 people to their Bob Sled for groups of up to 20.

Sleigh Rides | Bunker Park Stable
Bunker Park Stable has a variety of horse-drawn vehicles to accommodate any group! They have a bench wagon that fits up to 12 people, a flatbed sleigh for up to 25 people, a bench sleigh for up to 12 people, and an antique sleigh for up to 2 people (or 2 adults & 2 kids). Reservations are required for all sleighs, at least a week in advance. The operation of sleighs is dependent on snow. They will continue to run wagons until their trails have sufficient snow coverage. Want to add more magic? A 1-hour recreational campfire can be added before or after your ride for an additional $25 + tax!

Santa Visits w/ Photos & Holiday Hayrides | Minnetonka Orchard
Join Minnetonka Orchard this holiday season on the farm as they host Santa Claus weekends! This magical experience may not have horse drawn sleighs, but it includes a holiday hayride to Santa’s barn, which is decked with festive décor, and leave with a digital copy of your picture with Santa to cherish. This experience will be one to add to your holiday tradition list! Things to note: make sure you dress accordingly for the weather and Santa is a busy man! He is not always punctual, so please allow extra time to ensure Santa has a chance to meet every child. Saturday and Sundays, November 30 – December 22.

What’s better than a picturesque sleigh ride through the North woods of Minnesota? A free one.
The Grand View Lodge offers up their pair of Clydesdale horses for a short (15-minute) ride around their property in Nisswa. You’ll be able to take in the beauty of the pine trees, the sound of their hooves in the snow, and the jingle of their bells before your hands even get a chance to freeze! These sleigh rides are weather-dependent, make sure to call ahead to check their schedule!
