As the air turns crisp and leaves adopt shades of orange and gold, Minnesotans know it’s time to immerse themselves in the quintessential fall festival experience. Imagine an idyllic day spent surrounded by the vibrant hues of autumn, the laughter of your children, and the smell of sweet treats filling the air. Your dream of a perfect fall day in the countryside, complete with cherished family memories, comes to life at Pinehaven Farm’s Pumpkin Festival in Wyoming, Minnesota, just minutes from the hustle and bustle of Minneapolis.

A Farm Steeped in Family Tradition

Originally founded as a Christmas tree farm in the 1950s by John and Barb Hastings, Pinehaven Farm has been a beloved destination for almost seven decades. Now operated by their son, John, his wife Sue, and their five children, the farm has pivoted its focus toward agritainment – using the farm for recreational and educational purposes – since 1996. What was once a winter wonderland is now an autumnal paradise, complete with educational tours, festive events, and even farm weddings. Come fall, Pinehaven becomes the embodiment of autumnal exuberance.

The festival is not merely an event; it’s an experience—voted the best pumpkin festival in Minnesota by WCCO. Picture yourself launching pumpkins out of a cannon or aiming at targets with apple blasters. The kids can dive into a colossal corn pit containing 4,000 barrels of kernels for a sensory adventure they won’t forget. Conquer Straw Bale Mountain, choose your perfect pumpkin, or zip down the thrilling zipline. There are Superslides, even friendly dinosaurs throughout the farm. With over 30 activities, the only problem will be deciding what to do first! Most activities are included with the General Admission ticket.
