It’s time to celebrate spring in the Twin Cities!
If your family is looking for Easter events this April, then we have the list for you with our Twin Cities Easter Events 2022 guide! From Minneapolis to Saint Paul, the suburbs of the Twin Cities host a variety of family fun events for kids of all ages! If you are looking for Easter egg hunts, you can find large events such as 40,000 eggs dropped in large fields or more simplistic celebrations at the park recreation centers.
We’ve got all of your Easter activities covered, from dyeing eggs to egg candy hunts to posing with the big friendly Easter bunny! We have searched high and low to put this list together and will continue to add as new events are announced so make sure to check this page often!

April 5: Egg Coloring Extravaganza – Minneapolis 1pm – 3:30pm Come celebrate the beginning of spring at Folwell Park. Join us for some fun and get creative decorating eggs to take home along with a bunny treat bag to enjoy.
April 5: Spring Break: Sp-EGG- Tacular Slime – Minneapolis 12pm – 2pm Sign up early for this popular class! It’s silly and slimy and insanely fun. We’ll get silly with silly putty, messy with muck and so much more. This is going to be a messy one, so please dress your child appropriately.
April 7: Youthline: Egg Decorating – Minneapolis 5pm – 7pm Come decorate some fun festive eggs! Take your eggs home at the end!
April 8: Community Connect: Egg Hunt! – Minneapolis 5pm – 7pm Join us for a fun evening outside with your friends. Bring a basket to collect eggs, design your own eggs, do some fun arts and crafts, play games -including an egg drop competition! It will be a great way to celebrate spring!
April 9: Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 10:30am – 12:30pm Celebrate the arrival of spring with our Annual Egg Hunt at Painter Park. Bring the whole family down for this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, pancakes arts and crafts, and visit from the Bunny himself. The Egg Hunt will begin at 11 am sharp. Please register in advance.
April 9: The Giant Egg Hunt (McDonough) – St Paul 1pm – 3pm Come join our Giant Egg Hunt.
April 9: Easter in the Castle – Minneapolis 9am – 10:30am and 1pm – 2:30pm Celebrate Easter with the Twin Cities’ only Easter egg hunt in a castle! The whole family will have fun hunting high and low for colorful eggs hidden throughout the nooks and crannies of the Turnblad Mansion. All across campus, ASI will celebrate other favorite holiday traditions including storytime with the Easter Witch (påskkäring), adding feathers to the brightly decorated Easter tree (påskris), making a craft to decorate your table on Easter morning, and creating traditional Swedish-style Easter greeting cards to share with friends.
April 9: 4th Annual Spring Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 12pm – 3pm Spring into some fun and come and join Farview Park and Hawthorne Neighborhood in our 4th Annual Spring Egg Hunt. There will be fun springtime activities, games, giveaways, food, and an exciting egg hunt. This event is for all ages but activities are designed for ages 1 – 12. All families are welcome and pre-registration is not necessary. See you there!
April 9: Eggcellent Doggy Adventure – Minneapolis 1pm – 3pm Participants are invited to bring their pups to McRae to enjoy fun activities and a doggie egg hunt in the park. Egg/treat hunt will take place at 2pm. Registered participants will receive a puppy basket to take home filled with treats and a toy! Please check in prior to 2:00pm to receive your treats!
April 9: Pysanky European Egg Decorating – St Paul 2pm – 5pm In this hands-on workshop, learn about traditional motifs, coloring, and patterns used for centuries throughout Central and Eastern Europe to create vibrantly hued and highly detailed works of art on a simple egg. Participants will apply wax using traditional tools, dye eggs in a succession of colors to create multi-colored eggs, and remove wax to reveal the final colors. This craft may be more difficult for younger children, but it’s a great activity to bond with your artistic teen or have fun with a group of friends. Best for ages 12 and older.
April 12: Ping Pong “EGG”stravaganza – Minneapolis 5pm-7pm Join us on Tuesday, April 12th for a day of Art and Ping Pong! Participants will be able to first decorate their “eggs” (ping pong balls) and then play games and learn skills with other players and the staff! We will also have popcorn available for participants to snack on! Registration is encouraged but not required!
April 14: Dusk Hunt (Merriam Park) – Minneapolis 6pm – 8pm This spring time event is for the whole family to enjoy! Families are invited to play games, make crafts, and enjoy various activities including an outdoor Egg Hunt!! Dress for the elements!
April 15: Webber Park Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 5pm – 7pm Bring your family and join us for a fun evening outside with your friends. Bring a basket to collect eggs, design your own eggs, do some fun arts and crafts, play games and earn prizes .

April 15: Egg Dying (Langford Park) – St Paul 4pm – 5:30pm Join us in dying and making some awesome eggs just in time for Easter.
April 16: Bunny Party and Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 12pm – 2pm Celebrate the beginning of spring at Windom Park. Come on down for some treats and fun entertainment. We will have games, Bounce House, children’s egg hunt and more! Ages 7-12. Audubon Park will host the Bunny Party for kids ages 6 and under from 9am-11am. Windom will host ages 7-12 from 12pm-2pm.
April 16: Easter egg hunt at Logan Park – Minneapolis 10am – 12pm Check in at 10am. Egg hunt start at 10:30am
April 16: Annual Spring Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 10:30am – 12pm Hop on over for the annual Spring Egg hunt at Van Cleve Park! There will be a fantastic egg hunt in our beautiful park for various age levels. Age-structured hunts will be held at 11 and 11:45. Enjoy snacks, crafts and baskets, tissue paper flowers and spin art!
April 16: Bunny Brunch Bundle and Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 10:30am – 12:30pm Join us for the Bunny Brunch but with a twist! Start off with the bunny brunch bundle. Bundles are $25, and feeds a family of four. The menu is pancakes, baked goods, fruit, coffee and juice (Subject to change). Egg hunt, will start at 11am (0- 5 years old), 11:15am (6-12 years old), 11:30am (13 year old and up).
April 16: Audubon Park Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 9:30am – 11:30am Audubon Park will host the Bunny Party for kids ages 6 and under, 9:30am-11:30am. Bring the whole family for this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, Arts and Crafts, continental breakfast and much more. The actual Egg Hunt at Audubon Park will begin at 11am sharp. The cost will be $6 per child. Pre – Registration is required to receive a treat bag.
April 16: Spring Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 1pm – 3pm Spring into spring Egg Hunt. There will be fun springtime activities, games, giveaways, exciting egg hunt. This event is for all ages but activities are designed for ages 1 – 12. All families are welcome and pre-registration is encouraged but not required See you there!
April 16: Waite Park Egg Hunt – Minneapolis 9am – 12pm Join us as we jump into Spring in collaboration with Waite Park Church. Outside activities on the field. Treats, music, crafts and fun!
April 17: Easter Brunch at the Ballpark! – St Paul 12:30 PM Spend Easter at the ballpark! Join us pre-game for an Easter morning brunch like you’ve never had before. Plus, an Easter Egg Hunt! Tickets are just $35 and include an Outfield Reserved ticket + pre-game brunch!
April 2: Spring Bunny Storytime – Hudson, WI 10:30am – 11am Join Mr. Bunny and his Spring Storyteller friend to recount the adventure of one of his very first egg hunts in an interactive storytime! Afterward pose for photos (bring your own camera) and meet and greet with Mr. Bunny (pandemic precautions may apply).
April 9: Playground Egg Hunts – Woodbury Multiple Sessions 9:30am – 12:30pm A special egg hunt just for the littlest ones! Bring your own basket or bag and find the eggs hidden around the playground! During each session, participants will join in an egg hunt on the playground, photos with the spring bunny and a spring-themed craft. Please arrive promptly at your start time and bring your own camera for a photo with the bunny.
April 9: Cottage Grove Egg Hunt – Cottage Grove 10:00 AM Our popular event this year will be held at Woodridge Park on the Inclusive Playground. Admission includes 10 eggs, redeemable for a prize, pictures with the Bunny (bring your own camera).. Anyone collecting eggs will need an admission ticket – $6.
April 9: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Afton 9am – 11am Afton House Inn Breakfast bunny will be visiting each table from 9am to 11:00 am
April 16: Mystery Egg Hunt – Oakdale 9am – 11am The Bunny will lead you along the trails of the Oakdale Nature Preserve where plastic eggs are hidden. Once you find an egg it can be redeemed for a special prize! Two “Golden Eggs” will also be hidden, redeemable for an extra special surprise! The event also includes a petting zoo, games, face painting, great prizes and refreshments. Bring your camera for a picture with the Bunny.
April 16: Easter Egg Hunt – Maplewood 9:30am – 11am Children will be hunting for wrapped candy and plastic eggs, some of which may be redeemed for fun prizes. Bags of goodies will be available for children under 2 years of age. Participants from each hunt will also be entered into a drawing to win cool prize baskets!
April 16: Easter Egg Hunt and Bunny Meet & Greet – Stillwater 12pm – 4pm Hop on over to Aamodt’s Apple Farm and Thor’s Hard Cider for an eggcellent afternoon! This egg-stravaganza features a very special guest… The Easter Bunny! Easter egg hunt with 2000+ candy-filled eggs starts at 3PM (weather permitting). Say hello to the Easter Bunny from 12-4PM – Enjoy the Easter scavenger hunt all day and win a prize for participating (see taproom bartender for details. Enjoy live music from 2-5PM, a seasonal food menu, and 12 hard ciders on tap to enjoy (must be 21+ to drink).
April 2: Hide & Peep Egg Hunt – Blaine 2pm – 3:30pm You’re invited to an Egg Hunt egg-stravaganza at Northtown Mall! Visit us on Saturday, April 2nd in Burlington Court for a fun event to celebrate spring! Kids 12 and under that complete the Egg Hunt will get a special Easter craft, while supplies last. This free event is a great way to have some family fun before you go visit with the Bunny!
April 3: Bamboo Bay Egg Hunt – Shoreview 9am – 11am The bunny will be hiding eggs for you to find in the Bamboo Bay pool area. Each child will be given and Easter bag of goodies. After the egg hunt is completed participants will be able to swim in Bamboo Bay. Don’t forget your swim suit! No walk ins. Ages 7 & under.
April 9: Egg Hunt – Shoreview 10 am check in; 10:15 am egg hunt Join the bunny in an old-fashioned eggciting hunt for prized-filled eggs! Each participant will be given a bag for hunting! Space is limited. No walk ins. Ages 10 & under.
April 9: Bunny party egg hunt! – Anoka 10:00 AM Egg hunt, games, and crafts. Hunt eggs outside then come inside and play games and have a snack.
April 9: Easter Egg Hunt – Spring Lake Park 11:30am – 12:15pm This annual egg hunt sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Department and the Spring Lake Park Lions Club continues to be a hit! The event is structured for children ages 2-12. Children will use designated bags (no outside bags or baskets are allowed).
April 10: Eggstravaganza – Andover 11:30am – 1:00pm Fun for the whole family: egg hunt, crafts, games, and more! There will also be children’s bingo in between worship services.
April 13: Easter Egg Hunt at Osseo Fire Station 12:00 PM We’ll have Easter eggs hidden in Boerboom Park where all children under the age of 10 are invited to partake in this great community event.
April 15: Tiny Tot Egg Hunt – Champlin 11:00 AM Bundle up those toddlers and bring them to Andrews Park to give them a chance to find their lucky egg, don’t forget to bring a pail or basket to put the eggs in! Ages 4 and under.
April 15: Family Egg Hunt – Champlin 11:45 AM The Easter Bunny will have approximately 15,000 eggs for children ages 9 and under to “hunt”. Eggs will contain candy and a few will contain special tickets redeemable for a small surprise.
April 16: Hamel Lions Easter Egg Hunt – Hamel 11:00 AM Head to the Hamel Community Center for games, prizes, refreshments, and a picture with the Easter Bunny! Egg hunt starts at 12:15pm. Kids up to 10 years old.
April 16: Easter Egg Hunt and Journey to the Cross Event! – Coon Rapids 9:30am – 12pm Join us for our annual outdoor Easter Egg hunt starting at 10:00am! Then join us inside for our our Journey to the Cross event where you and your family can Then join us inside for a Journey to the Cross event where you and your family can explore the meaning of the Lenten season and the joy of Easter! The egg hunt will be entirely outdoors (dress accordingly!) with three different hunt levels in three different areas on the grounds. This will ensure maximum space and equal fun for families of all ages! FREE!

April 16 & 17: Largest Easter Egg Hunt in Blaine Times vary Have you been thinking about trying church this Easter? This is a great way to try one out! Renovation Church in Blaine is hosting an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 0-11 with 40,000 eggs! A massive egg hunt will take place after each one of our seven Easter services. Upon leaving the service that you’ve attended, each child will then be given a wristband, which will allow them to participate in our enormous, incredibly fun, and totally FREE Easter Egg Hunt! Each egg hunt will be divided into three age zones (0-3, 4-6, 7-11). All of our colorful eggs are filled with either candy, bouncy balls, or stickers. And, some of the eggs will be filled with prizes from our donors like Chick-fil-A, Culver’s, Chili’s and more! We will have over $3,000 worth of prizes hidden in special eggs! FREE.
April 17: Easter Brunch Eggstravaganza 2022 – Andover 11am – 12:30pm OR 1pm – 2:30pm Courtyards of Andover is excited to be able to host Easter Day Brunch again in 2022. Includes brunch, photo booth photos, as well as an Easter egg hunt for the adults AND the kids.
April 8: Flashlight Egg Hunt – Inver Grove Heights 8:30 PM Join us at Rich Valley Athletic Complex, soccer field entrance for an exciting twist to an old tradition! Look for the big IGH Fire Truck! This adventure takes place at night and you only have your flashlight to guide you!
April 8: Flashlight Egg Scramble – Savage 7pm – 9pm Scramble across the field at the Savage Sports Center with the lights off! Bring your flashlight and basket to scoop up as many eggs as you can. Several golden eggs will be on the field for a chance to win a special basket. Eggs will not be filled and will be recycled at the end of the scramble where every pre-registered participant will receive a goodie bag full of prizes.
April 9: Easter Egg-Stravaganza – Burnsville 10am – 12pm Families, neighbors, and friends are invited to celebrate Easter together through fun, motion, and being together. Egg-Stravaganza is designed for young families to play games, create Easter crafts, and hunt for goodies with an egg hunt for Pre-K or Grade School-aged kids. We’ll also send families home with fun ways to jump, fly, float, and remember Christ’s resurrection this month! It will be a morning designed for young families to celebrate the greatest day in history together

Some “special prize” eggs will be available for some lucky participants. This hunt will be held rain or shine so dress appropriately. Register early, as space is limited. Although this event is free, pre-registration is required to participate.
April 9: Egg Hunt & Candy Grab – Shakopee 1pm – 2:30pm and 3pm – 4:30pm Join us at Lions Park for one of our biggest celebrations of the year! Activities include games, arts & crafts, bounce house, vehicle display, llamas to feed/pet from Mama’s Lamas, face painting, caricature artists, pictures with the Easter Bunny and of course the EGG HUNTS! All activities are included in the registration fee. Please register every child that will be participating in the event, parents/grandparents are free and do not need to register.
April 9-16: Golden Egg Hunt – Lakeville All day Find the golden eggs in our parks and complete the challenges. Beginning March April 9 we will give out clues to find four golden eggs. Find all four and photograph yourself to be entered to win a spring surprise pack. Clues will be sent out via email to those who register.
April 10: Aqua Egg Hunt – Inver Grove Heights 10am – 11:45am Swim and dive for eggs at the VMCC and then trade them in at the end of your hunt for an awesome goodie bag! We will have two waves of hunts. Limited to 50 swimmers per wave.
April 16: Egg-Cellent Spring Adventure – Burnsville 9am – 11am Join us for a fun-filled morning to celebrate spring! Activities will include an egg hunt, arts/crafts, DJ entertainment, breakfast goodies and an opportunity to meet and take photos with the Easter Bunny! Continental breakfast will be served from 9 – 10 am. The egg hunt will begin at 10:00 am, kids will be grouped into age categories.
April 9: EasterFest Family Egg Hunt & Community Event – Edina 10am – 12pm Cross View’s annual EasterFest celebration will give your family a chance to spend the morning celebrating the Easter story! EasterFest includes an Easter egg hunt, Petting Zoo, Fun Experiential Stations, Bounce House, Refreshments, and Gifts.
April 16: Easter Egg Candy Hunt – Chanhassen 9:00 AM The City of Chanhassen’s 39th annual Easter Egg Candy Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 16, at 9 AM at City Center Park. Kids ages 12 & under will hunt for candy and eggs in three different age categories: 4 & under, 5-8, and 9-12. Each participant will receive a bag (with goodies!) for gathering candy and eggs, as well as the chance to find special eggs that are redeemable for prizes. Make sure to bring your camera for a photo with the Easter Bunny!
April 16: Easter Egg Hunt – Eden Prairie 11:00 AM Join us for the 2nd Annual Family Egg Hunt! It’s time to mark your calendar for Minnesota Ballet Theatre & School Spring event! This fun family event is great for all ages. Egg Hunt with candy and prizes. Meet and dance with Bunny-Ballerina. Photo booth. Your children will love the search for colorful eggs filled with treasures at our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Be sure to bring your Easter basket and your bunny smiles! This event will be outside, rain, snow, or shine. Recommended for families with children 9 and under. There are 2 different age groups, be sure to select the appropriate age groups for your children.
April 16: Spring Eggstravaganza – Minnetonka 10am – 11:30am Calling all egg hunters to our annual spring event featuring an egg scavenger hunt, photos with the bunny, dancing, face painting, crafts, treats and games. Please bring a basket for egg hunting! Please bring a basket or bag for collecting eggs.
April 16: Lions Club Egg Hunt – St Louis Park 10:00 AM Participants will hunt for candy and special eggs in separate age categories. Each participant will receive a bag to collect their goodies. Bring your camera for a picture with the Park bunny. Prizes will be awarded for the coloring contest for ages 8 and under. Pick up a color sheet at The Rec Center or download it when you register. Bring your completed masterpiece to the event. Event is sponsored by the St. Louis Park Lions Club. Egg hunt will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m.
April 17: Easter Brunch at the Arboretum – Chaska 9am – 2pm Enjoy an Easter brunch buffet followed by a stroll through the beautiful spring blooms in Arboretum gardens.
