Travel Lighter with Vea Kids

We’ve recently partnered with a nationwide company, created solely to make traveling with your family easier. Vea Kids knows family travel, and we’re so excited to share them with you!

Traveling with kids.

Before I had them, it sounded like a dream come true. I pictured myself with my family in tow, Mickey Mouse ears on each of us, standing happily in front of the magic castle. We’d go to the beach! I’d have a smaller version of myself tagging along to swim with dolphins!

I pictured us standing at the bottom of one of the glorious waterfalls up the North Shore. Matching hiking boots (hey – I said this was a dream!), exploring all the wonders nature has to offer with glee.

But then…..

Then we had a baby. And then we had another. And All. The. Gear. Even traveling “just” 2 hours back to Wisconsin became an undertaking. It literally doesn’t matter if you’re going away for the weekend or for 3 weeks – you still need the same stuff, right?
So my dreams of traveling with kids took the backseat – literally and figuratively. My love of flying became grounded. The packed-to-the-gills car and ridiculous “extra fees” for traveling with car seats and strollers and Pack n’ Plays deterred us from going much outside the midwest with the boys.

But then…..

Then we heard about Vea Kids. The absolute sanity saver every parent that even THINKS about traveling needs to know about. Because they’ll make your travel experience that much better. This company may be the deciding factor between traveling to Florida for spring break, or freezing your buns off on a staycation.

Vea Kids was started by two dads who were tired of all the hassle and stress that traveling with families causes. They were unimpressed with the rental products available to travelers – costly, dirty, sometimes even hazardous.

They strive to make traveling with children easier. By using their service, you can shed all of that cumbersome equipment that is essential to have, but now no longer need to travel with. You simply leave all of your heavy and valuable gear at home (or in your car), and when you arrive at your destination, they will be there to provide you with all of your travel essentials: car seats, play yards, strollers, kid carriers and peapod tents. They also sell essential sundries: diapers, wipes, formula, medicines, creams, squeeze (fruit and veggie) packs, juice and snacks galore – all to ease the burden of traveling with little ones.
Family travel can be better and less stressful; let them help!

We’ll be anxiously waiting to hear if you’ve given Vea Kids a try! Perhaps we’ll pass each other on the beach, and we can “cheers!” to easier travel.

Mention this post, and you’ll receive 10% off your Vea Kids services!

Hi! Great post! I had the same paradigm shift after having kids. Now I don’t want to leave the house with my kids unless its an emergency! 🙂 or we are just walking to the local park. Any tools that make traveling with kids easier are awesome!

I was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased the tote that is resting between the two car seats. It looks like exactly what I have been looking for!

Thank you~

Hi Lindsey! The orange bag was a gift, but I believe its a ThirtyOne tote. The yellow is a Jessica Simpson luggage bag – super sale at TJMaxx!
