Target’s Fall 2018 Car Seat Trade-In Event

As if we needed more reasons to love Target, they’re once again helping us recycle our car seats. I’ve looked at the expired car seats in my garage, knowing I’m supposed to get rid of them, but feeling like it’s such a waste. Thank you, Target, for helping me clear them out with a clear conscience!

Target is again partnering with Waste Management and bringing back the popular car seat trade-in event at Target stores across the country. Here is an opportunity to give all that plastic new life. Waste Management helps recycle it for things such as, ‘grocery carts, plastic buckets and construction materials.’

Here is what you need to know:

Sunday, September 9th through Saturday, September 22nd, you can bring in any brand, expired or no longer used infant car seats, convertible car seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats, as well as car seats that are expired or damaged, to a participating Target store.

In exchange, you’ll receive a coupon for 20% off towards any car seat in stores or at Target.com.

The coupon can then be used towards a new car seat, booster seat, bases or full travel systems and now on select baby home gear including playards, highchairs, swings, rockers & bouncers.

The donation box can be found at Guest Services at the front of the store.

This coupon is good until October 6. It can also be stacked with existing deals.

Be sure to check the weekly ad for price cuts and sales featured in that week’s ad. You can also stack the coupon and sales with Target’s Cartwheel for even more savings!
