SEA LIFE Divers Dress as Pirates to Celebrate Spooky ‘Seas’on with Underwater Pumpkin Carving

(Bloomington, MN): While little ghouls and goblins get ready to celebrate Halloween on dry land, SEA LIFE at Mall of America is celebrating spooky season with a few tricks and treats in the spooky seas. Surrounded by hundreds of sea creatures, the Aquarium divers dressed up as pirates while showing off their pumpkin carving and sword fighting skills underwater! Seemore, the green sea turtle, and bamboo sharks even got a special treat of a lettuce stuffed pumpkin.

Guests can cheer on pirate divers carving pumpkins, sword-fighting and interacting with mischievous ocean creatures sneaking a treat every Sunday and Friday at 11am and 1pm until October 30. In addition to the pirate antics in the water, guests can channel their inner pirate to follow a treasure map through 1.3 million gallons of the deep to seek out sea creatures and treasure during our Pirate Treasure Hunt event, now through Halloween!
