Save Water, Save Money

MN Energy Resources: Save Water, Save Money | Twin Cities Mom Collective

I remember buying my first book about “green” living in college and becoming obsessed with ways that I could positively impact our planet.

Fast forward 12ish years and I’m still just as obsessed. However, I’ve come to realize it can come with its challenges and hurdles while raising a large family and consuming a lot of natural resources.

Recently I was given a Water Conservation Kit from MN Energy Resources to help reduce water waste in our home and conserve natural gas. It was so easy to set up that I can hardly believe it. It only took about an hour to install all of the pieces; and I’m ecstatic that with just a few updates around our home, we will be saving water AND saving money! A Water Conservation Kit can save you money by conserving water, but especially hot water- which in turn saves natural gas. This results in lower natural gas and water bills. I call that a win-win!
