Plan Your Winter Wonderland Adventure at the 2025 Minnesota Ice Festival!

Bundle up and bring the whole family to Viking Lakes in Eagan for the 2025 Minnesota Ice Festival, running from January 10 to February 16, 2025. This frosty favorite, now in its third year, is presented by Minnesota Ice and promises an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Festival Hours:

  • Thursdays & Fridays: 4 PM – 10 PM
  • Saturdays: 11 AM – 10 PM
  • Sundays: 11 AM – 9 PM
  • Special Hours: Open on Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Monday, January 20) from 2 PM – 9 PM

 

What’s New and Exciting?

This year’s Minnesota Ice Festival brings some amazing new highlights:

  • The World’s Largest Ice Maze: At 18,000 square feet, this record-breaking attraction is set to dazzle with its LED-lit paths and intricate artistry.
  • The Carver Cup: Watch ice sculpting teams from around the world compete from January 30 to February 1, 2025, creating stunning works of art for the ultimate prize and a cash reward.

Fan-Favorite Features:

  • Ice Slide: Three icy lanes of fun for kids and adults alike.
  • Warming House and Fire Pits: The Minnesota Lottery Warming House provides a cozy retreat from the cold at The Minnesota Ice Festival, where you can warm up and enjoy refreshments. Additionally, outdoor firepits will be stationed throughout the festival grounds to keep you extra toasty.
  • Skating Rink: Glide across 3,500 square feet of ice; skate rentals available.
  • Food Trucks and Vendors: Sample delicious eats from some of the Twin Cities’ best food trucks.
  • Themed Ice Bars: Sip on handcrafted cocktails served with the signature Pure & Clear Ice from Minnesota Ice.

  • Kids (5-14): $12.99
  • Family 4-Pack (2 Adult & 2 Child Tickets): $59.99

Location & Parking Details

The Minnesota Ice Festival takes place at Viking Lakes, located at 2685 Vikings Circle, Eagan, MN 55121. Convenient parking options make it easy for you to arrive stress-free:

  • On-Site Parking: Ample parking is available in designated festival lots for $10 per vehicle.
  • Shuttle Service: Free shuttle buses will run regularly from nearby off-site lots to Viking Lakes. Look for clear signage directing you to the shuttle stops.
  • Public Transit: Eagan is connected to the Twin Cities Metro Transit system. Plan your route to Viking Lakes using the Metro Transit app or website.
