Make Your Life Easier This Winter

I’m about to give you one of the best tips a fellow mom could ever share.

You need to host a freezer meal workshop.

ASAP.

I’m a mom who loves to cook. I love the prep, the chopping, seeing it all come together.

But I’m also a mom with little time on my hands these days. And I’m a woman who wants to see her family eating good, hearty meals – even on those days when we arrive home late from our various activities. Time around the table is a huge priority for us, and so I hosted a freezer meal workshop to ensure that mealtime would still happen for us.

There are several different avenues you can use to fill up your freezer with nutritious meals. Let’s Dish is one such option, and there are branches all across the Twin Cities. Another great option is Wildtree. Wildtree specializes in organic products, and representatives present their workshops in an educational format so you can continue to reproduce their tasty meals in the future.

The freezer meal workshop I attended was through Pampered Chef. The rep, Molly, was super knowledgeable, and well-trained, and walked us through making our meals, step by step. She also sent out the menu ahead of time, so we’d know just what to shop for – and what needed to be prepped ahead of time.

The menu I chose was gluten and dairy-free – so there are truly options for every dietary concern out there.

The meals range in price from $2.50-$3. A couple of women whose families are smaller were able to share their ingredients so their cost was lower. We drank a little wine, put together our ingredients, and within a few hours, we had 12 meals, ready for the freezer – and eventually ready to fill our families’ bellies.

This is not a sponsored post, and I’m in no way being compensated by any of these companies to write about them. I was just so thankful to have had these meals on hand, and I know it’ll be a sanity saver for many of you as well! I’m thankful every time I pop one of these frozen meals into my crock pot and know that I’m coming home to a hearty and delicious meal after a long day out and about.

I joined Wildtree as a rep recently because I was amazed at how great & easy the freezer meal workshops actually are! I have a 6 month old & 3 year old at home & I LOVE having a healthy dinner ready before everyone hits their hunger breaking point…and I didn’t have to break a sweat doing it! 🙂 If anyone is interested, please let me know & I’ll share more information.
