(Apple Valley, MN): Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Minnesota Zoo is returning in a big way in 2024! Kicking off on September 28th and running until November 2nd, 2024 – this year’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular will lead you on a magical journey through,’ Wanderlust’ depicting the wonders of the world and the joys of travel. Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular features talented artists’ creations and plenty of seasonal fun.

This seasonal event is for people of all ages. The entire Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular experience is outdoors and involves considerable walking, so guests should dress appropriately for the weather and wear comfortable footwear. There are concession stands along the way providing hot chocolate, cider, caramel apples, and other treats!
Animal viewing is available in Discovery Bay only until 8 pm. All other animal viewing areas close at 4 pm when general Zoo hours end.

Personalized Pumpkins
You have the option to customize your very own Jack-O-Lantern with a personalized message or image. You can have an artistically and professionally carved pumpkin placed on display and glowing for all to see. Your jack-o-lantern will be on display the night of your visit, and yours to take home when you leave. Reserve your pumpkin today! **Cost includes admission for two to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular.

Tickets
All tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets range from $18-26 for adults and $14 -22 for children/65+ adults. Members receive $2-off General Admission. Hoots, Howls & Growls: Zoo Night in the Moonlight
At 8:30 p.m., you’ll be guided along the Treetop Trail to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, where you can spend the rest of the evening in the glow of 5,000 pumpkins.
Cost is $65 and must be 21+. Admission to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is included with your ticket purchase. Event capacity is limited – purchase your tickets for Hoots, Howls, and Growls here.
