Shopping. Can we just touch on this for a second? I really enjoy shopping. Alone. But boy has it been a while since thats happened. Most of the time I try to drag my kids along. The process is less than desirable. The experience ends up being bit similar to trying to brush my teeth while eating corn on the cobb. Unsuccessful. Dragging them to the mall just never works.
I recently learned of a pretty cool option to make the whole shopping deal a bit more exciting and enjoyable. Enter: F&F. It’s a boutique within Hy-Vee‘s massive grocery store and I had the opportunity to check it out. The results: I was so pleasantly surprised.
First off, I love that I can hit up this store while getting all of my grocery shopping done in one stop. If the kids are with me I’ve got plenty of yummy, fresh, fun snack options to grab for them within the market for the perfect bribery to allow a bit of shopping in the boutique; and friends, I am not above bribery.
F&F has something for every member of the family, which is awesome. The kids clothes are seriously adorable…and the price tags are so reasonable. My daughter lives in the skirt and shirt I got her from here…literally. The colors are bright and simply adorable and the clothes are comfy, realistic for playing and very ’boutique’ looking without the cost of an upscale boutique.
Even the mens clothes were a hit. I got my husband a pair of shoes and shorts and he couldn’t believe they came from a “grocer“. And for the mamas? I had such a heyday.
They have clothes…dresses, skirts, tops and bottoms galore, and super cute ones at that. There is also workout gear. Swimwear. Bras. PJ’s. Handbags and so many accessories. And SHOES! Check out my favorite win of them all…

All in all it was a great experience. The customer service was phenomenal and the fitting rooms totally accessible with a stroller which is a win in my book. And the best part? In one little stop I finished my grocery, squeezed in a Starbucks run and left with a bag full of new threads for the whole family…yes! Check it out – you won’t be disappointed!
