A Healthy Way of Life with good2grow and Life Time Fitness

good2grow is a family favorite in our home, so my daughter was excited to bring her family and friends to enjoy a fun morning where we got to learn more about good2grow’s beverages, Life Time Fitness’ programs and facilities, and to participate in fun crafts and activities.

We started out our day with creating a custom, ‘kid made’ super hero cape.  Of course, Gradie picked pink and got to decorating.

Then we took to the obstacle course.  As is the case with most things in our kids’ lives, they participate more when you do it with them, so I jumped in and did the obstacle course too.  We make a pretty good team.

After the obstacle course, Gradie had worked up a thirst.  Of course, good2grow was there to quench her thirst and as a mom I was really happy that she’d be drinking something that is really GOOD for her.

There are too many juices out there that have ingredients you can’t pronounce and things we know our kids shouldn’t be consuming, like high-fructose corn syrup, artificial colors and preservatives.  good2grow is not one of those juices – they have 100% juice, fruit and vegetable blends.  Plus, I learned at this event that they have Juicy Waters, which is bottled water, flavored with organic juice!

I always battle to get Gradie to drink enough water, she prefers to drink something that has a ‘taste’ – and with good2grow’s flavored water, she now enjoys drinking water.

good2grow juices are in BPA-free packaging that is recyclable and their spill-proof character tops are fantastic collector items for our kids.  An added bonus, for parents, is that they’re dishwasher safe.  good2grow is up to date with the latest trends in kids’ entertainment and I’m sure you’ll find a character that your child loves.

We headed into Life Time Fitness to check out the facility.  I was very impressed with what they have to offer.  It really feels like an escape to a resort/spa that includes child care, kids sports, camps and activities.  As a working mom, it is nice to know that places like this are out there where adults can get the fitness and workouts we need to stay in shape to be able to play and be active with our children.  While we’re working out, we can rest easy knowing our children are in good hands.

After you participate in your classes or complete a work out on your own, you are able to grab a bite to eat or a drink to replenish, all within the same building.

I am excited to check out what Life Time Fitness offers to families.  From infants to grade school, there are options for your little ones at Life Time, including Life Time Kids Academy, swimming lessons, birthday parties and camps.  There is no longer an excuse to not stay in shape when there are this many options to keep your children entertained.
