Go, See, Explore: Elm Creek Swim Pond

(Maple Grove, MN): Located in Maple Grove, the Elm Creek Swim Pond is one of our favorite places to check out on a hot summer day! Unlike other lakes and ponds, Elm Creek Swim Pond offers filtered, chlorinated water. Along with the filtered water there is a sandy beach, changing shelter, concessions and bathroom facilities.

The beach is spacious enough to spread out and the water is shallow and clean. Check out the details about lifeguards, hours, and fees.

You can easily spend all day here — but there are also great parks nearby if you want to hit up a playground before or after swimming! Elm Creek has one of the largest play areas in the state. Swings, slides, ropes and lots of fun features make it fun for kids of all ages.

The Elm Creek playground is one of our favorites!
