Our greatest passion is to support local moms, and the past 18 months has reminded us of why a community like this matters. Our mission has always been to support women, not only in their motherhood, but as the person they were before little ones arrived. To have the chance to gather in person again to do just that was an incredible joy.
Bloom is meant to help welcome you into motherhood, whether as a new mom or as a mother once again, but it is always for your benefit: to ensure that you feel ready, that you are equipped, and so that you know you are supported.
The past year and a half left us all deeply sensing the need for community and support and we can’t tell you how wonderful it was to be able to create a space for us all to feel that tangibly again. Thank you all for joining us, and thank you to all of our partners for being businesses with hearts that care for the parents and families in our community.
Supporting Mothers Year After Year: Bloom's Title Sponsor
HealthPartners Park Nicollet have been a part of Bloom since the very beginning, supporting moms all along the way, and we were so happy to have them join us in welcoming moms back to gathering safely together again. Their workshops were incredibly informative and you can get a taste of them, learning more about early brain development just below! We had the chance to interview Dr. Andrea Singh so that even if you weren’t able to attend Bloom, you can benefit from her wisdom and tips to easily make your baby’s early brain development a part of your every day!
HealthPartners Park Nicollet provides the affordable, high-quality continuum of care that’s important to moms – from pregnancy to birth and every stage that follows. From those first moments in the delivery room to the follow-up checkups in their clinics, OB-GYN doctors, certified nurse-midwives, doulas, pediatricians and more will be at your side every step of the way. Their award-winning birth centers are equipped to handle your birth, your way – with delivery options in the west metro at Methodist Hospital Family Birth Center, in the east metro at the all-new Regions Hospital Family Birth Center and throughout central Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Investing in children’s health is at their core with initiatives like Little Moments Count and PowerUp packed with resources to help raise healthy kids. Simply put, with HealthPartners Park Nicollet, you and your child are in great hands.
Bloom 2020: Our Incredible Host
Most years, we gather for Bloom at Breck School’s incredible Upper School Commons building, this year, we held Bloom outside for the first time on Breck’s beautiful football field.
Breck is a preschool-grade 12, private school where all grades are joined together in one vibrant community on their beautiful campus in Golden Valley, Minnesota. At Breck, each week, each month, each term, each year brings new opportunities to reimagine, reinvent, and reanimate learning — both for its students and for the school. When perpetually learning, students encounter this perpetually learning school, they see the very process of learning not just as a prerequisite for success, but the lens through which they view the entire world.
Supporting New Moms with Information and Education
One of the most valuable aspects of Bloom is knowing that the sponsors there truly care about our attendees and want them to head into motherhood equipped.
“I know these vendors are here to sell services and products, but I also feel like they are businesses who care and that’s so nice. Moms are thrown by the wayside too often and Bloom makes me feel seen in my motherhood.” – Ruthie
Our Presenting Sponsors shared on a variety of topics. Be sure to scroll below and watch a few videos that share a sneak peek into these workshops. They will leave you encouraged and seen in your motherhood!
