Field to Fork Dinner at Sovereign Estate Winery with CommonGround | October 27, 2022

As we welcome fall, we welcome opportunities to gather around the table and create memories with family and friends.


We are so excited to announce our upcoming event coming up this fall in partnership with CommonGround Minnesota.

You are invited to an intimate dinner and conversation with the local women farmers of CommonGround Minnesota who are making an impact in agriculture and food!

At Sovereign Wine Estate on Thursday, October 27

This event will take place in the Willow Room at beautiful Sovereign Wine Estate on Thursday, October 27 from 5 pm – 7:30 pm. Purchase tickets by clicking the button below.

Multi-Course Dinner

There will be a fabulous four-course meal with wine pairings from Sovereign Estate, showcasing the wine of Minnesota and featuring a seasonal Italian-inspired, locally-sourced, menu by chef Jo Seddon.

This dinner will be a multi-course dinner inspired by her love of Italian cuisine and her travels through the Mediterranean and Southern Europe.

The evening will commence with a welcome drink and canapes, giving guests the chance to mingle and enjoy the patio with views of the lake and the vines, if weather permits. It will then move indoors to the intimate Willow Room for a seated dinner. Jo will be on hand to talk the guests through the courses one by one and a member of the wine-making team will be explaining the wine pairings.

Following dinner, there will be an opportunity to hear from some of the women farmers that grow and raise food from right here in our state during a live Q&A session as well. We hope to see you there!

Jo Seddon

Jo Seddon is a British chef who started life as a physician and then left her career in medicine to re-train and follow her passion for food. She has trained and worked at various Michelin-starred establishments, notably the iconic London restaurant, The River Café.

She is passionate about seasonal eating and using locally sourced produce where possible. She uses organic produce, grass-fed meats, and ethically caught fish and seafood whenever possible.


Tickets are just $25 and include your dinner at Sovereign Wine Estate. In the past this event has sold out very quickly – so if you plan to attend, you will want to reserve your spot quickly (space is very limited).
