We’re bringing the Olympic spirit to Como with a wild twist—introducing Zoolympics, a free, family-friendly conservation event that will have your little ones jumping, running, and competing like true champions. Mark your calendars for September 7 and 8, because this is an event you won’t want to miss!
What is Zoolympics?
Zoolympics is our very own kid-friendly, animal-themed version of the Olympic Games. We’ve lined up some exciting activities that will let you experience the athleticism of the animal kingdom while learning about conservation. Whether you’re a future sprinter, jumper, or bowler, there’s something for everyone!

Are You Faster Than a Cheetah?
Think you’ve got what it takes to outrun the fastest animal on land? Guests will get a chance to measure their top speed and see how they stack up against some of the quickest creatures in the animal kingdom.

Leap like a frog! Test your long jump skills and see how you compare to some of the top amphibians. Whether you’re channeling your inner kangaroo or tree frog, this is your chance to show off your hopping prowess.

Boomer Bowling
Ready, set, roll! Compete against your friends and family in a game of bowling using a boomer ball, just like the ones our polar bears play with. It’s all the fun of bowling with an arctic twist!

On your marks, get set, recycle! Join in on the fun as guests race against each other to collect recyclable materials. It’s a fast-paced challenge that teaches the importance of keeping our planet clean and green.

Bonus Activity:
We’ll also have a craft station where guests can color and design their very own gold medal to take home. Every participant is a winner at Zoolympics!

Zoolympics will take place at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory on Saturday, September 7, and Sunday, September 8, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. All activities are free, and everyone is invited to join in the fun!
