Mala Necklace Class | Minnesota Makers

April 12 @ 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

A Mala necklace is used for reflection, yoga practice, or as part of your fashionable style. They can be worn by anyone who wants a more mindful and peaceful life. If you have seen those super trendy long tassel necklaces, you may know what we are talking about. The Mala Necklace class will feature the history and significance of the necklace, teach knotting between stones (which is a transferable skill for knotting pearls or beads for other jewelry pieces), and you get to wear your creation or give it to someone special as a very special gift.

The cost is $55 and includes materials of gemstones, natural stone beads, silk thread for knotting, and tassel. Reserve your spot through the Eventbrite link. Most students take between 2-3 hours for their first necklace.

Please feel free to bring beverage and snacks to enjoy during our class time.

*Refund/reschedule policy: Craft class tickets are non-refundable. We reqire 48 hours notice for reschedule requests, please send requests to minnesotamakers@gmail.com. Our craft classes require a great deal of pre-planning, including ordering supplies and tools, booking staff, and making commitments to pay our instructors — all based on the number of students who register. If you are unable to attend a class at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend. Thank you for understanding!
