Family Halloween Costume Party | Ames Center
October 13 @ 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
$5 – $35Come and celebrate the slightly scary and decorative festivities of Halloween with the Dakota Valley Symphony. Kids and adults are invited to wear a costume! The orchestra will be decked out too.
Among the activities for kids are a costume parade and a chance to see the instruments up close and personal during an instrument “petting zoo”. And there’s a special treat for adults – our annual Wall of Beer drawing.
This concert includes selections from Hollywood favorites “Frozen” and “The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring“, both of which have also inspired many in their costume choices over the years. Of course no Halloween concert would be complete without some creepy selections such as Berlioz’s “March to the Scaffold“. To top it all off, our own Composer in Residence, Randy Stokes, will have you dancing in your seats with his piece “Edgewood Faire“.
Tickets are just $5 for kids 12 and under! Adult tickets start at $35, and $25 for seniors (age 60+) and students. Purchase tickets in person at the John and Betty Adamich Box Office at Ames Center or through Ticketmaster.
