Duck Donuts is a delightful spot where you can satisfy your sweet tooth and support a local Black-owned business.

The Sweet Success Story Behind Duck Donuts

Duck Donuts was the brainchild of Russ DiGilio and his family. They craved a warm donut in their favorite vacation spot – The Outer Banks of North Carolina – but were coming up empty-handed. So they opened their own shop! This has led to more than 200 franchise locations across the US including two locations in the Twin Cities area: Woodbury and Mall of America.  Both locations are owned by Justin Butler and Shedrick “Shed G” Garrett.

The Duck Donuts Experience

What makes Duck Donuts stand out from the crowd? It’s all about the experience. When you walk up to Duck Donuts, you’re not just buying donuts; you’re creating your very own donut masterpiece.

  1. Made to Order: Your donut starts with making it to order just for you.  Hot and fresh straight from the fryer!
  2. Pick Your Coating: The staff will dip your donut in a variety of mouthwatering coatings, including chocolate icing, strawberry glaze, or maple.
  3. Add Your Toppings: Get creative with toppings like sprinkles, crushed Oreos, graham crackers, or even bacon bits.
  4. Finish with a Drizzle: Top it all off with a drizzle of hot fudge, marshmallow, or salted caramel.

The result? It’s a one-of-a-kind donut that’s made exactly the way you like it. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or a daring donut explorer, Duck Donuts has something for everyone in the family.
