Duck Donuts was the brainchild of Russ DiGilio and his family. They craved a warm donut in their favorite vacation spot – The Outer Banks of North Carolina – but were coming up empty-handed. So they opened their own shop! This has led to more than 200 franchise locations across the US including two locations in the Twin Cities area: Woodbury and Mall of America. Both locations are owned by Justin Butler and Shedrick “Shed G” Garrett.
