Northern Star Scouting has expanded their offerings of week-long, fun and inexpensive day camp programs at their five Twin Cities locations. All boys and girls in Kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to these beautiful natural settings and facilities. Programs run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. featuring swimming, hiking, climbing, archery, STEM activities, outdoor skills, crafts and more. Activities are age-appropriate and guided by well-trained and enthusiastic staff. With multiple sessions offered at a variety of locations, you are sure to find something that will fit your busy schedule!

Fees start at $165 for youth Kindergarten to 5th grade and $205 for those in 6th through 8th grade, which includes an overnight stay for these older youth. Transportation is available from certain locations for a small additional fee. Lunch is included each day at all locations except for Base Camp, where participants are asked to bring a bag lunch. Accommodations are available for special dietary needs.

Program offerings take advantage of each camp’s unique natural setting and facility as well as consistent core camp activities. If you’ve ever driven by one of these properties and thought it would be a great place for your children, you’re right! Discovery Day Camp is an excellent way to give your child an amazing summer camp experience in a Scouting setting.
