Cooper & Kid {Sponsored Post}

{We’re excited to partner with Cooper & Kid for this sponsored post. Look no further for your husband’s holiday gift… this is it! Read on below to hear how much Alissa’s family enjoyed these “toys.”}

When asked to review The Cooper Kit from Cooper & Kid, I was definitely intrigued. I had heard of this company before and vaguely knew about its background. Cooper & Kid operates under the belief that fatherhood has changed and that the modern dad wants to be engaged with a variety of aspects in their children’s lives. The Cooper Kit is a box of imaginative and cool stuff that a dad and his kiddos are sure to love. The theme-based kit is delivered to your doorstep and is intended to support the modern dad.

Our musical-themed kit arrived the day before Thanksgiving and its cool packaging begged to be opened. My 6 year old boys instantly knew that this was a package that definitely had something to do with them. This kit was about to enter into a home with some fierce competition. My boys had just celebrated their 6th birthday the weekend prior, so that meant we still had toys and gifts waiting to be played with. I didn’t know if our home would have any more room for “toys” at the moment, so I hid the box for a few days until we were all together over the weekend and ready to open.

Much to my surprise and delight, the kit was so much more than “toys.” The activities quickly engaged my boys and my husband. The myriad of games, books and tools seemed endless and offered an astonishingly amount of variety. So much so that we are still finding new things and ways to engage with the kit.

Here’s a very small sample of what arrived in our box…it’s the few items that I could scoop up and steal without causing major upset in the family play time.

I know that Cooper & Kid works with how dads spend time with their kids, but this mom is certain to use some of the awesome gear the next time I’m looking for project ideas with my boys. If you have some kiddos in your life that are of the ages of 5 – 9 years old, consider getting their dad a Cooper Kit for the holidays. I love that while my husband is great with physical activities like sports with my boys, this kit really supports sitting down together as a family, doing projects and other quality activities.

This seems like a great activity kit for over christmas break when it can be too cold to be outside!
