{SOLD OUT} Cooking and Conversation with CommonGround

We are excited to announce our next Moms Night Out event, Cooking and Conversation with CommonGround!

Let’s talk food together! You are invited to join us for delicious food and genuine conversation at Cooks of Crocus Hill, St Paul. Enjoy drinks and appetizers on the patio during social time, then dive into the cooking, and wrap up with the dining and a Q&A about food and farming with the women farmers of CommonGround Minnesota.

A professional chef and culinary team will lead guests through an interactive culinary experience where you’ll have the opportunity to team up with local women farmers to create (and later, eat!) a delicious 5-course meal. Bring your questions as we wrap up the evening with a farmer-led Q&A about food, farming, and family over dessert. All guests will receive a custom CommonGround goodie bag as well as recipes from the evenings’ cooking festivities.

Cooking and Conversation with CommonGround | Twin Cities Moms Blog

Thank you to our title sponsor, CommonGround Minnesota, for helping make this event a reality! CommonGround is a group of farm women who wish to share information about farming and food. Volunteers share their personal experiences in agriculture and as farmers, as well as relevant science and research. Thirty-four women volunteer with CommonGround in Minnesota. These ladies come from all types of farming backgrounds: conventional and organic, crops and livestock, produce and more.

The overall goal of CommonGround is to connect farmers and consumers, and answer FAQ’s about how food is grown and raised, and we are excited to be partnering with them to bring this exclusive Moms Night Out to you, our readers.

The Location

This event will be taking place at Cooks of Crocus Hill, St. Paul. Life happens in the kitchen. That’s their belief, and they’re sticking to it. For the past 38 years, Cooks has been the Twin Cities’ industry leader in all things culinary. They were the first cooking school to bring nationally recognized chefs and cookbook writers to the Twin Cities, the first retail store to incorporate cooking classes and the first specialty gourmet store to directly import culinary products. And those won’t be their last firsts. They’re constantly growing, changing and challenging themselves to bring the best products and experiences the food world has to offer to their customers.
