The holidays are just around the corner, and Comcast’s Midwest Region is excited to spread some festive cheer across the Twin Cities with a host of community events supporting local causes, veterans, and families in need. Here’s a look at some of the heartwarming happenings this season!
Exclusive Wicked Benefits for Xfinity Customers
The cinematic version of the Tony and Grammy award-winning Broadway smash hit Wicked is set to debut in theaters on November 22. To celebrate, and because “everyone deserves a chance to fly,” Xfinity is offering to take its customers to new heights.
It doesn’t matter how you get there, by broomstick or by bubble, for some Xfinity customers the movie magic will double. That’s because from now through December 6, Xfinity customers who take advantage of Xfinity Rewards will have the chance to buy one movie ticket and get a second one on us. Stuff the Sleigh with the Salvation Army and KSTP-TV
From November 25 through December 15, Comcast is joining forces with the Salvation Army and KSTP-TV to “Stuff the Sleigh!” Drop by any of the 16 Xfinity retail locations throughout the Twin Cities to donate a new toy for children in need, with a special request for gifts suited to ages 11-14. And while you’re there, why not check out some of Xfinity Mobile’s special holiday deals—perfect for gifting! For more details, visit KSTP.com.
Meet Minnesota Vikings Legend Cris Carter in Eagan
On Saturday, December 14, from 1 – 3 PM, join Hall of Fame wide receiver Cris Carter at the Xfinity store in Eagan. Drop off a toy for the “Stuff the Sleigh” drive, meet a football icon, and enjoy fun giveaways like signed memorabilia and photo ops! It’s a festive way to get into the giving spirit, with a dash of Vikings pride.
White Christmas Honors Local Veterans in Chanhassen
In partnership with local veteran organizations, Comcast will honor local veterans with a special night out during White Christmas The Musical at the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres. Over 12 evenings from November 19 to December 27, Comcast will treat a veteran and three guests to a night of dinner and recognition in gratitude for their service. “We’re honored to support our veterans and their families during this meaningful time of year,” shared Karly Baraga Werner, Comcast’s VP of External Affairs for the Midwest Region.
