I love cooking, but meal planning can be overwhelming. My husband was traveling for work so I thought it was the perfect time to try out the CobornsDelivers To The Table Fresh Meal Kits. I went online and picked out the meal that would be the best fit for our family and chose the Certified Hereford Beef Top Sirloin Steak Meal with Grillin’ Medley Potatoes Asparagus & French Baguette.
One especially trying day, I arrived home from work with my kids and there sitting on my doorstep was a special green box.
Inside, the meal I ordered was insulated nice and cool which was perfect because it was a hot summer day. Unpacking it in the kitchen, I loved that everything was packed so nicely in the cardboard meal kit.
All items were neatly packaged as well as labeled. Everything I needed for the meal was included. The steak had a seasoning pack and the medley potatoes had fresh herbs. Also included was a step-by-step recipe card with full instructions on how to prepare the items.
When I prepared the meal I found the recipe card helpful, but I also appreciated the ability for the home cook to modify the meal how they would like for their family.
Each component of the meal required simple cooking steps, which allowed me to make the dinner and still enjoy time with my kids. I prepared the meal on a night when my husband was traveling and found the two-person meal that was provided to be very generous. All of us loved the meal and found it to be fresh and delicious.
This CobornsDelivers To The Table Fresh Meal Kit was a hit in our house and I would definitely order a meal kit again. It was perfect for when a parent is traveling, a date night, or easy weeknight meal that is packed with flavor and freshness but doesn’t require too much effort to prepare.
Melanie’s Experience with CobornsDelivers Meal Kit
Between preschool pick up and swimming lessons in the afternoon, this momma of two needs some help during the dinner rush to prevent those “hangry” meltdowns. So, when asked to try the new CobornsDelivers To The Table Fresh Meal Kit—I jumped at the opportunity to accept some meal planning help.
After picking up the kids and sitting in rush hour traffic, I was especially relieved to see the green bin on my doorstep when I arrived home. Everything inside was still cold thanks to the great packaging complete with ice packs. This To The Table Fresh Meal Kit included lemon pepper chicken, vegetable kabobs, robust pasta salad, and rustic Italian bread, along with an easy-to-follow instruction card.
I only had to grill the chicken and vegetables, while the bread cooked in the oven for a few minutes. The kit only included two servings, but it was easy enough to throw some brats and asparagus on the grill as well for the rest of our family.
The pasta salad was my favorite because it included a variety of flavors with a light dressing. Mixing the chicken into the pasta salad added bonus flavor and moisture to the chicken. The kids loved the bread, of course.
I would love to try other To The Table Fresh Meal Kit in the future. It took less time than ordering takeout, or picking up and baking pizza at home. It was a wonderful way to have a balanced, healthy, and delicious meal at home—without all the planning headaches!
