Born and raised in Minnesota, Kate needed to spread her wings and moved to Hawaii where she lived for 5 years before coming home to roost with her now-husband John, dog Jack, and cat Raquel. Since returning to Southwest Minneapolis, Kate has added another needy creature to the mix – her one-year-old baby girl, Lucy. Kate works in marketing, and her hobbies are food (@kateeatsitall on Instagram). She's enthusiastic about sunglasses and science fiction, has a penchant for languages, and hoards office supplies. At the end of the day, Kate is just a nerd fest Golden Girl masquerading as a millennial mom.
