One of our passions at TCMB is to provide opportunities for moms and families to connect with each other, and this is one of the main reasons we love planning and providing events for families in our community! We were thrilled to have the opportunity to gather 300+ people at Mounds Park Academy for our 2nd annual Hanging with Heroes, sponsored by The Urgency Room, YWCA Minneapolis, and Mounds Park Academy.
We are so grateful to our Title Sponsors who helped make Hanging with Heroes a reality!
The Urgency Room– When you need serious care, the ER is not your only option. The Urgency Room is staffed with board-certified ER physicians specializing in emergency medicine. We offer more care options than a typical urgent care and a fraction of the wait you would find in your average emergency room. From concussions and broken bones, to abdominal pain and high fevers, The Urgency Room can handle it all. Convenient Hours: 8am -10pm, 365 days a year in Eagan, Vadnais Heights, Woodbury.
YWCA Minneapolis– YWCA Minneapolis Early Childhood Education programs equip children with the knowledge and skills to reach their true potential. Our NAEYC-accredited and Four-Star Parent Aware rated early learning programs offer a whole-child learning approach to build children’s social-emotional, cognitive, physical and cultural development. By creating a sense of belonging in the classroom with our anti-bias curriculum and pushing to eliminate the educational opportunity gap in our state for families from all races, ethnicities, cultures and incomes – we help all Minnesotan children thrive. Other benefits include fresh baby food, breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks prepared on-site daily, on-site kindergarten screening, and a free one- year Health & Wellness membership for newly enrolled families. Mounds Park Academy– For 36 years, Mounds Park Academy in Saint Paul has engaged students PreK-12 in a rigorous college-preparatory experience that cultivates dreamers and doers. Our academic program is demanding, but not draining, and goes far beyond memorization. Students are challenged to apply their understanding to stir the human spirit, stand for justice, and shake the world. This is what we call rigor with purpose and it grounds our students in the radical idea that their identity in the world is not measured by a test score, but by the depth and decency of their impact on the world. At MPA, our educational experience is designed to inspire and energize. Students of all ages feel great about school and treat each other with respect. Only through this type of positive, supportive community are students able to discover who they are meant to be.
