2018 Twin Cities Easter Events

The Twin Cities hosts a variety of egg hunts that vary from helicopter drops into large fields to a simple look around for colored “egg” rocks out on a nature hike. We’ve got all of your Easter activities covered, from dyeing eggs to egg hunts to posing with the big friendly bunny! We will continue to add to this list as new events are announced!

March 24: MAKEbreak Egg Decorating – Various Metro Locations | 1:00-3:00pm Michaels Stores hosts weekly crafting sessions within their stores. This special one invlolves painting specal crafting eggs. Buy the eggs from Michaels, and the rest of the supplies to decorate them will be provided.

March 24: EGG-CITING EGG-DYEING – Apple Valley | Times Vary In this egg-stra special holiday art class, you’ll create egg-citing decorated eggs to take home. We’ll have all sorts of egg-citing ways to decorate your boiled eggs including many colors and different types of egg dye. But, why just dye when you can also glue, glitter, lace and paint too? Lots of creative egg-dyeing fun for families! You will take home 3-4 dozen eggs.

March 24: Eggstravaganza – Elk River | 9:00-11:00am This interactive “eggstravaganza” workshop helps family members explore ways to color and decorate hard-boiled eggs, and also prepare and eat them in salads, snacks, and main dishes. Participants will take home a finished food product, recipes, and instructions. This workshop takes place in the visitor center learning kitchen at Oliver Kelley Farm.

March 24: Natural Dye Eggs-travaganza – Maplewood  | 1:00-2:30pm What is an egg? Which wild animals make eggs? We will answer these questions and more while dyeing eggs with environmentally friendly, natural dyes. Learn to make a basket from paper plates and other activities while your eggs soak. BRING 3 HARD BOILED eggs per person and an egg carton for drying and transport. (To hard boil, use enough cold water to cover eggs plus 1 teaspoon salt. Bring to a boil, remove from heat and let cool. Refrigerate.) Fee: $5/person, prepay by Thursday, March 22.

March 29: Family Egg Dyeing: Natural Dyes – Roseville | 6:30-8:30pm An evening of egg dyeing with environmentally friendly, natural dyes. Create patterns on your eggs, play some egg games, and try the “Who Lays Eggs?” scavenger hunt. Bring 6 hard-boiled eggs and an egg carton for drying and transporting your eggs. Wear old clothing – these dyes are permanent! Registration required. 

March 31: Natural Egg Dyeing – Dayton | 10:00am-12:00pm Use natural foods to dye beautiful and unusual eggs. Bring a dozen hard-boiled eggs and dye an impressive set. Drop in anytime. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult. $5/dozen eggs. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

March 13, 20, & 27: Princess Storytime with the Bunny | 10:00-11:00am Toddler Tuesday is in full force at the Easter set this season. Join the Maplewood Mall’s special princess friends as they read stories, pose for photos and share snacks with kiddos. Stick around after story hour and grab a photo with your favorite bunny. This event is free to the public. 

March 17: Hoppy St. Patrick’s Day – Breakfast with the Bunnies – Farmington | 9:00-10:30am A new twist on Breakfast with the Bunnies, we will enjoy the bunnies and a little green at the same time. This is a new event for the Easter Bunny. Come and listen to a funny bunny story, interact with rabbits, make a craft, and learn the bunny hop! Photo ops galore so bring your camera. Breakfast includes rolls, fruit, juice, and coffee. This is a great family program; invite Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, and have some fun! Live rabbits are an event favorite, along with the Easter Bunny! Each person must be registered.

March 17: Easter Egg Scramble & Breakfast – Lakeville | 9:00-10:45am Scrambled eggs, pastries, juice, coffee and chocolate milk will be served. Bring your camera—a special bunny has hopped a long way to see you and will be available for photos! We’ll enjoy egg-stra special Easter activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration for adults and children is required, space is limited.

March 24: Bunny Breakfast at Braemar Golf Course – Edina | 9:00-11:00am Bring the kids to meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy breakfast, an egg hunt, fun activities and photos with the bunny. Registration required.

March 24: Bunny Brunch – Minneapolis | 10:00am Hippity hop on over to the McRae Rec Center for their annual Bunny Brunch! This year will be better than ever! They will have music that will keep your toes tapping and your voices singing. There will be a super cool craft for the kids to make and take and of course the Big Bunny will be on hand for pictures! Don’t forget to bring your baskets and join in on the egg hunt!

March 24: Brunch with the Easter Bunny | 11:00am-1:00pm Meet the Easter Bunny and receive a complimentary digital photo and spring treat at the Rosedale Green Mill!

March 24: Lunch with the Bunny – St Paul | 11:30am-1:30pm Children will have an opportunity to visit with the Bunny as it moves around to visit everyone during lunch. Other activities include a craft project, egg hunt, and much more! $2 per person or $5 for families of three or more. To register as a family, please call or visit the North Dale rec center. Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult. 

March 24, 25, & 27: Macy’s Bunny Brunch | Times Vary Brunch with the Easter Bunny at the Macy’s Ridgedale and Macy’s Southdale Lakeshore Grill. All brunches on Saturday start at 9:00am. The Sunday brunches start at 10:00am. Reservations required.

March 25 & 31: Rabbit Playdate – Richfield | Times Vary The Bunny Garden is designed as a fun, interactive learning experience (not a mall Easter session of 5-10 minutes where sit on a lap and purchase a photo packet). You will be engaged with our volunteers and our bunnies while you learn about different breeds and about what makes a rabbit special. You’ll have some free time to explore, spending some time touching and playing with rabbits, getting into pens with blankets on your laps and allowing the bunnies to interact with you. Thank you for recognizing that our bunnies are not here to be props for photos, but you will no doubt get some AMAZINGLY cute photos without staging and setting them on your child’s lap.

March 26 & 28: Easter Basket Delivery – Champlin | Times Vary The Easter Bunny is going to be busy hopping around Champlin with baskets full of goodies. Order an Easter basket to be delivered to your child by March 16.

March 27: Toddler Tuesdays – Easter Bunny | 10:00am-12:00pm Hippity Hoppity Hooray – the Easter Bunny is on his way! Wendell, the Easter Bunny will be meeting all his friends from 10 – 10:30 a.m. + 11 – 11:30 a.m. Plus stick around to do an egg-cellent Easter Craft! Hope you’re able to hop on by!

March 28-31: Easter Bunny is Coming to Southtown – Bloomington | 10:00am-8:00pm Southtown Shopping Center in Bloomington will host the Easter Bunny at a special party from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 31st, 2018. Kids can dance to music by “Kids Dance” Entertainment and DJ sounds! They also will enjoy face painting, balloon animals, and crafts with Bloomington’s “Artistry”. There are prizes and free giveaways while supplies last. n addition, from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 28th – Saturday, March 31st Southtown will provide a large tent shelter for pony rides and will feature a petting zoo with many species of animals. The pony rides are $5; all other events are free. 

March 30-31: Easter Basket Delivery – Apple Valley | Times Vary Order an Easter Basket, to be delivered to your child(ren) by our Easter Bunny. This program is recommended for children ages 2-7, but additional baskets can be ordered for their younger or older siblings as well.

March 31: Breakfast with the Easter Bunny – Apple Valley | Times Vary Spend an hour with the Easter Bunny. He will visit with you and your family while you enjoy special treats. Following breakfast, each child can take part in a variety of holiday activities, face painting, crafts, games, and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Sponsored by McDonald’s.

March 31: Peter Rabbit at MN Zoo – Apple Valley | 10:00am-1:00pm Gather the whole family and celebrate spring at the Wells Fargo Family Farm. Say hello to our adorable farm babies, including goats, chicks, piglets, lambs, calves, and bunnies. Check out the special “egg” treats for the animals. This fun form of enrichment will include colored Jell-O eggs, piñatas, and hard-boiled eggs. Keep an eye out for a costumed Peter Rabbit hopping around the farm! 

March 31: Easter Bunny & Baby Animals – Maple Grove and Woodbury | 10:00am-3:00pm Join the Easter Bunny & his baby animal friends at The Woods’ 20th annual Spring Celebration! On Saturday, March 31 both stores will host the Easter Bunny from 10 am – 3 pm, and baby animals will be on hand 12 -2 pm. All events are FREE!

March 17: EasterFest Family Egg Hunt & Community Event – Edina | 10:00am-12:00pm Cross View’s annual EasterFest celebration will give your family a chance to spend the morning celebrating the Easter story! EasterFest includes an Easter egg hunt, petting zoo, biblical characters telling the Easter story, crafts, refreshments, and a free gift for all who stop by the registration table. This year’s EasterFest will once again have a service component, as we will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items for The Sheridan Story. The Sheridan Story is a network of weekend food programs, commonly called backpack programs, operating in multiple schools throughout the Twin Cities. The Sheridan Story suggests that all food items are under 16oz. FREE.

March 17: Celebrate Spring – Golden Valley | 9:00-10:45am Celebrate Spring will still involve Easter crafts and an egg hunt. In addition, this year, we’ll be visited by Chris Cakes, the national leader in pancake production—and entertainment! Chris Cakes’ specially designed giant griddles alone are worth coming to see. What will make the experience even more unique is when the pancake makers do pancake-flipping tricks, one of which is to toss pancakes to people with their awaiting plates. In addition to all-you-can-eat pancakes, the menu will include sausage links, coffee, milk, apple juice and orange juice. FREE.

March 17: Eggciting Eggventure – Woodbury | 10:00am-12:00pm Head down to Central Park in search of eggs, fun characters, and the Easter Bunny. This scavenger hunt will be complete with candy-filled eggs, Easter Bunny pictures, and smiles from your kids to make this a morning to remember.

March 23: Flashlight Egg Scramble – Savage | 7:00pm Scramble across the field at the Savage Sports Center with the lights off! Bring your flashlight and basket to scoop up as many eggs as you can. Several golden eggs will be on the field for a chance to win a special basket. Eggs will not be filled and will be recycled at the end of the scramble where every pre-registered participant will then receive a goodie bag full of prizes. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for pre-registered participants to enjoy inflatables, games, and activities prior to the scrambles.

March 24: Bunny Brunch Egg Hunt & Fun – Anoka | 10:00am-12:00pm Egg hunt, games, and crafts. Hunt eggs outside then come inside and play games and have a snack. FREE.

March 24: Egg Hunt at the Ice Arena – Cottage Grove | 9:00am The Ice Arena has turf in the West Rink; sure not to let spring weather ruin our fun. Admission includes 10 eggs (redeemable for a prize), pictures with the Easter Bunny (bring your own camera), Craft Station and Cookies & Juice.

March 24: Community Egg Hunt – Cottage Grove | 10:00am-12:00pm Crossroads Cottage Grove is hosting their annual Easter egg hunt. Doors open at 10 am and the egg hunt will begin at 10:30 am.
Weather depending there will be a petting zoo, crafts, face-painting, create-a-treat activity and balloon animals before and after the egg hunt.

March 24: Family Jam – Inver Grove Heights | 10:00am We are having our annual Family Jam! Easter egg hunt, photo booth, obstacle course, crafts, and games! Bring out the whole family for a fun Saturday at Grace Church!

March 24: Egg Hunt – Inver Grove Heights | 1:00pm Hop on over to the Rich Valley Athletic Complex for some egg-citing fun! Kids will enjoy scrambling all over to collect their eggs. Some special prize eggs will be available for lucky participants. Although this event is free, registration is required. 

March 24: Easter Sweet Stroll – Maplewood | 10:00am-12:30pm Hop into Maplewood Mall on Saturday, March 24th for our annual Easter Sweet Stroll! The Easter Bunny will be sprinkling Easter treats for your kiddos to collect throughout the mall. In an effort to keep the mall free from chaos, we have strategically placed over a dozen stations throughout the mall for your kiddos to collect their treats. In addition to the treats, your ticket includes admission to the KidX Club Activity Zone featuring face painting, a balloon artist, a special spring craft corner and an inflatable game zone for the kids to enjoy. 

March 24: Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast – Minneapolis | 10:00am-12:00pm Celebrate the arrival of spring with our egg hunt. Bring the whole family down to this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, arts and crafts, a pancake breakfast and visit from the Bunny himself. We will divide the kids up into groups by age. Ages 6 and under will hunt at 11am. Age 7 and older will hunt at 11:15am. $5 per person. Please register in advance.

March 24: Annual Spring Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 10:30am Hop on over for the annual Spring Egg hunt at Van Cleve Park! There will be a fantastic egg hunt in our beautiful park for various age levels. Enjoy snacks, egg decorating and baskets, tissue paper flowers and spin art!

March 24: EggStravaganza Helicopter Egg Drop – Minneapolis | 1:00-4:00pm Hop on over to the park to view spectacular scenes of thousands of eggs being dropped from a helicopter. Feel free to bring your own egg basket to collect eggs. Enjoy a community gathering, music, face painting, bounce houses, food and much more. Please also bring a non-perishable food item for our food drive. See you there it will be EGGcellent!

March 24: Whittier Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 1:00-2:30pm Celebrate the arrival of spring with our annual egg hunt at Whittier Park. Bring the whole family down to this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, face painting, arts and crafts, games, and a light continental breakfast. The Egg Hunt will begin at 1:30 pm sharp. $5 per child. Please register in advance.

March 24: Spring Fling Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 10:00-11:30am Hop on down to the Hills for a fun family event. Enjoy a light brunch, puppet show, art projects, candy treats, along with the traditional finale….our famous egg hunt. Family members of egg hunters do not need to pre-register. 

March 24: Easter Egg Hunt at Osseo Fire Station | 12:00pm The City of Osseo and the Osseo Fire Department Relief Association will have Easter eggs hidden in Boerboom Park. All children under the age of 10 are invited to partake in this great community event. Donations requested for non-perishable food items.

March 24: Easter Experience – Plymouth | 9:00am-12:00pm The Easter Experience will have an Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Beautiful Savior Child Development Center. The event will also include a wide variety of exciting and entertaining kid’s activities such as bounce houses and other inflatables, crafts, an obstacle course, giant Jenga and other fun games, healthy snacks and candy, prizes and the Easter Journey: Walking the Way to the Empty Tomb. FREE.

March 24: Richfield Egg Scramble | 10:00am-12:00pm Hop on over to Veterans Park for some egg-citing fun at an old-fashion egg hunt for kids ages 11 and under. Special guests and attractions will be Mr. E Bunny, activity table, and thousands of eggs. A few lucky kids might even find a golden egg and win a special prize. The event will be held rain or shine. No registration necessary, open to ages 11 and under. FREE.

March 24: Easter Egg Hunt – Richfield | 10:00-11:00am This is not your mother’s Easter Egg Hunt! Check out what makes our egg hunt different. We begin with the Easter Story (super kid-friendly). Egg hunt areas for two age groups. While some eggs have jelly beans, most eggs are filled with bunny money so your child can “purchase” spring prizes from the Bunny Money store. Prizes include bubbles, kites, sidewalk chalk, playdoh, flying disks, and more. Kids enter a drawing and the winners can get Duplo Lego sets or even a summer camp scholarship. We have a bunny hop (cake walk) where your child can win books. Each table has plain sugar cookies for you to decorate and frost and enjoy with your friends and family. We celebrate BIG because Jesus is alive! Ages birth to 5th grade. Bring a non-perishable food shelf item. FREE.

March 24: Spring Egg Hunt – Rosemount | 10:00am A bunny will be hopping into Rosemount with lots of eggs and candy for children to hunt for at this traditional Egg Hunt for kids ages 10 and under. This is one of Rosemount’s most cherished events and it is located at the Ames Soccer Complex at Dakota County Technical College. Children are divided into age groups, and a bunny is available for photos. Don’t be late! Hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp. We will be accepting donations for our local 360 Communities and the Family Resource Center. Items such as non-perishable food, paper products, toiletries and infant items will be very much appreciated. FREE.

March 24: Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Grab – Shakopee | 11:00am-1:00pm Hop to it! You are cordially invited by the Easter Bunny to the annual Easter Egg Hunt & Candy Grab at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24 at the Community Center and Muenchow Fields. Enjoy egg hunts by age at 11 a.m. with activities, games, crafts, prizes and more. Be sure to bring your Easter basket. This free event is held rain, snow or shine! The event is scheduled to take place outdoors but will be moved inside if inclement weather. Please be on time. The egg hunt is over quickly. Additional activities take place after the hunt is concluded. FREE.

March 24: Egg Drop at Langford Park – St. Anthony | 1:00-2:00pm A helicopter will drop 1,000 eggs onto the ballfield side of the park – stay tuned for lineup locations by age!

March 24: Egg Hunt – Saint Anthony | 1:00-4:00pm Participate in an art-inspired egg hunt, take photos with a bunny, and enjoy musical entertainment and art activities. Hunts for ages 0-4 begin at 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM; hunts for ages 5-10 begin at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM.  Fees: $5/person pre-registration or $6/person day-of. Children 17 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

March 24: Shoreview Egg Hunt | 10:00-11:15am Join the bunny in an old-fashioned eggciting hunt for prize-filled eggs! Each participant will be given an Easter bag for the hunt. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. The Egg Hunt is held outdoors; please dress for the weather. Deadline to register: Wednesday, March 21. 

March 24: Easter Egg Hunt | 10:30am The Easter Bunny will visit while you hunt for eggs at the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, Saturday morning at Community Park. This free event is hosted by the City and the Vadnais Heights Lions Club; however, non-perishable food items will be collected for the Vadnais Heights Community.

March 24: Playground Egg Hunt – Woodbury | 2:30-4:15pm A special egg hunt just for the littlest ones! Bring your own basket or bag to find the eggs hidden all around the playground! Participants will join in on an egg hunt, take photos with the spring bunny and complete a fun spring-themed craft. Please arrive promptly at your start time and bring your own camera for photos with the bunny.

March 24: Excellent Egg Frenzy – Woodbury | 6:00pm Bring your bucket and join us for the Excellent Egg Frenzy! Toy-filled eggs will be scattered around the outdoor softball fields at HealthEast Sports Center. Collect up to 10 eggs in your specific age group. Don’t forget your camera for a photo opportunity with our bunny. We encourage you to arrive early as we will start sharply at the times listed. Free.

March 24: Flashlight Egg Hunt – Woodbury | 8:15pm Grab your flashlight and bucket and join us for an outside egg hunt in the dark! Eggs will be filled with candy and toys! Use your flashlight to find the eggs scattered in the outfields of the softball fields. Find the special eggs with the hidden message to claim a super prize! It’s not about how many eggs you find; it’s about finding the right one!

March 25: Aqua Egg Hunt – Inver Grove Heights | 10:00am-12:00pm Swim and dive for eggs and then trade them at the end of your hunt for an awesome goody bag!

March 25: Bunny Breakfast and Egg Hunt – Maplewood | 9:00am-12:00pm Annual Easter Bunny breakfast with costumed characters, and egg hunt at the Bruentrup Heritage Farm. $10 each, children 3 & under $2. This is a fundraiser for the Maplewood Area Historical Society. Breakfast is on the hour between 9:00am and 12:00pm.

March 25 & 31: Easter Egg Hunt – St Paul | 10:00-11:00am Celebrate spring at the James J. Hill House with an outdoor egg hunt on the lawn. Participants can search for eggs, enjoy a snack, hear stories, and explore the first floor of the elegant Gilded Age home. Doors open at 9:30 am; the hunt begins promptly at 10 am. This event is for children age 2-7. Children must be accompanied by an adult. $8, age 2 and under free, MNHS members save 20%.

March 27: FLASHLIGHT EGG HUNT – Apple Valley | 7:30pm Meet in the Redwood Community Center at 7:30pm (sunset is at 7:35pm) for an Easter craft and a coloring contest, followed by an Egg Hunt with a bit of a challenge when the sun sets. Bring your flashlight and a basket Join us for this unique egg hunt by moonlight and win some fun prizes too! Parents can stay to assist younger children, as needed.

March 30: Tiny Tot Egg Hunt – Champlin | 11:00am Join us for a scaled down version of our traditional egg hunt. Bundle up those little ones and bring them to Andrews Park to give them a chance to find their lucky egg. Don’t forget to bring a pail or basket to put the eggs in. FREE.

March 30: Easter Egg Hunt – Champlin | 11:45am Grab your basket and join the Easter Bunny at Andrews Park to gather some eggs! The Easter Bunner will have 15,000 eggs outside Andrews Park for children to “hunt” up. Eggs will contain candy and a few prize tickets. Ages 5-9 suggested. FREE.

March 30: Tiny Tot Spring Party – Minneapolis | 10:00am-12:00pm There will be open gym, face painting, art projects, treats, a treat bag and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny. This program is for children ages 1-6. Please pre-register. FREE.

March 30: Flashlight Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 7:30-8:30pm Come on down to Creekview for our fun egg hunt. Bring your flashlight and we’ll start the egg hunt once it is dark. You must be in the center at the start of the event so we can hide the eggs outside. We will divide the eggs up into the different age groups. Registration is not required for the event, but you must be in the Creekview Park building by 7:45pm to be included in the hunt. FREE.

March 30-31: Egg Trail and Rabbit Habits – Bloomington | 9:30am-12:00pm Hunt for colorful wooden eggs and fact-filled rabbits on a non-competitive hike through the forest. Collect a treat and take a photo with a giant, friendly rabbit. Meet live animals up-close and learn about birds, nests, eggs, and rabbits. Create a craft and enjoy a snack. Reservations recommended. 

March 31: Hop to the Movies – Various Metro Locations | 9:30am Marcus Theatres are hosting a fun family event that includes pictures with the Easter Bunny, coloring and craft stations, an egg hunt, and a showing of Hop, the movie!

March 31: Largest Easter Egg Hunt in Blaine | 10:00-11:00am Have you been thinking about trying church this Easter?  This is a great way to try one out!  Renovation Church in Blaine is hosting an Easter egg hunt for kids ages 0-11 with 30,000 eggs!  A massive egg hunt will take place after each one of our six Easter services. Upon leaving the service that you’ve attended, each child will then be given a wristband, which will allow them to participate in our enormous, incredibly fun, and totally FREE Easter Egg Hunt!  Each egg hunt will be divided into three age zones (0-3, 4-6, 7-11).  All of our colorful eggs are filled with either candy, bouncy balls, or stickers.  And, some of the eggs will be filled with prizes from our donors like Chick-fil-A, Culver’s, Chili’s and more!  We will have over $3,000 worth of prizes hidden in special eggs! FREE.

March 31: Egg Hunt and Family Fun – Bloomington | 10:00-11:00am Kids ages 8 and under are invited to come and hunt for 9,000 eggs scattered around the Normandale Lake Bandshell. The egg hunt is sponsored by the Bloomington Optimists Club. Enjoy music,  information booths, prize drawings and other family fun activities sponsored by the City of Bloomington. FREE.

March 31: Easter Eggstravaganza – Burnsville | 2:00-5:00pm Egg Hunts are conducted outside (rain, snow or shine). Continuous activities include a hands-on story center which tells the Easter Story, tattoo face art, crafts, coloring Thank You Cards for Military Service personnel, a selfie station, and opportunities to listen and dance to live praise music … all at no charge! Treats and beverages are available. The event is in an “open house” format, so guests can arrive and leave at any time throughout the event. The typical guest spends about 2 hours at this event. FREE.

March 31: Children’s Easter Hunt – Cannon Falls | 10:00-11:30am The Easter Bunny has assured the Cannon Falls Area Chamber of Commerce that he/she will be hopping in to give us a hand! 
Numbers will be distributed to the children at the driveway of the Cannon Falls Library at 10 a.m. The event is for children aged 10 and under. For safety sake, children must be accompanied by an adult. Participants will also be asked to make a donation of food or money to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf. FREE.

March 31: Easter Egg Candy Hunt – Chanhassen | 9:00am Children will hunt for candy and special eggs, including a golden egg that can be redeemed for a great prize! Each participant will also be eligible for door prize drawings (must be present to win) Bring your camera for an eggstra-special photo with the Easter Bunny!

March 31: Community Easter Egg Hunt – Hastings | 11:00am-12:30pm The Hastings Crossroads Church will be hosting a Community Easter Egg Hunt at Cari Park from 11a-12:30p. Come enjoy a great Saturday morning with lots of candy, prizes, inflatables, and even a petting zoo! All are welcome to attend! FREE.

March 31: Easter Egg Hunt – Maplewood | 10:00-11:30am Mark your calendars for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! We will start our morning off with breakfast treats, colorful crafts and a visit from the Easter Bunny – then it is happy hunting! Children will be divided into two age groups and will be hunting for wrapped candy and plastic eggs, some of which may be redeemed for great prizes. Bags of goodies will be available for children under 2 years of age. Don’t forget your camera! In the event of inclement weather, treat bags will be given away at 11:00am at the Edgerton Community Gym. Cost is $5.00 per child. Ages 3-8.

March 31: Hamel Lions Easter Egg Hunt – Medina | 11:00am-1:00pm Head to the Media Entertainment Center for games, prizes, face painting, refreshments, and a picture with the Easter Bunny! Egg hunt starts at 1pm. Kids up to 10 years old.

March 31: Bunny Brunch and Big Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 9:30am-2:30pm Join us for a day of food, fun, and activities! Start off with the bunny brunch served from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Brunch is $7 for adults and $5 for kids. The menu is pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee, and juice. Free activities include arts and crafts, games, egg hunt, and a magic show. Small fee for face painting. The egg hunt will follow breakfast (approximately 11:45 am ). Activities are free. The brunch is $7/adult and $5/child. Brunch tickets are sold at the front desk on the day of the event.

March 31: Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 9:30-11:30am Audubon Park will host the Bunny Party for kids ages 6 and under, 9:30am-11:30am. Bring the whole family for this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, Arts and Crafts, continental breakfast and much more. The actual Egg Hunt at Audubon Park will begin at 11am sharp. The cost will be $6 per child. Pre – Registration is required to receive a treat bag and must register by 9pm on March 30. Treat bags will be given to the first 200 registered children ages 6 and under.

March 31: Egg Hunt – Minneapolis | 11:00am-12:30pm Celebrate the arrival of spring with our annual egg hunt at Painter Park. Bring the whole family down to this fun event. Enjoy an Egg Hunt, arts and crafts, and visit from the Bunny himself. The Egg Hunt will begin at 11 am sharp. $2 per child. Please register in advance.

March 31: Easter in the Castle – Minneapolis | 9:00-10:30am ASI celebrates Easter by hosting the Twin Cities’ only Easter egg hunt in a castle! The whole family will have fun hunting high and low for colorful eggs hidden throughout the nooks and crannies of the 33-room Turnblad Mansion. All across campus, ASI will celebrate other favorite holiday traditions including storytime with the Easter Witch (påskkäring), adding feathers to the brightly decorated Easter tree (påskris), making a craft to decorate your table on Easter morning, and creating traditional Swedish-style Easter greeting cards to share with friends. Registration required. This intergenerational family program is recommended for children under 10 years of age and their special adults.

March 31: Spring Eggstravaganza – Minnetonka | 10:00-11:30am Calling all egg-hunters! Join us for this annual spring event that includes a scavenger hunt style egg hunt inside and outside, photos with the bunny, dancing to musical entertainment, face-painting, crafts, treats, and games. Please bring a basket for egg hunting.

March 31: Egg Hunt – North St Paul | 11:00am-2:00pm Hunt for eggs, meet the Bunny, North St. Paul Firefighters, and Police Officers. Refreshments will be provided. Bring a basket or bag for the egg hunt and your camera to take pictures with the Bunny! This event is sponsored by North St. Paul Parks and Recreation and Gallagher Financial Services. Ages 0-12. FREE.

March 31: Mystery Egg Hunt – Oakdale | 9:00-11:00am The clever Easter Bunny has hidden eggs along trails of the Oakdale Nature Preserve. We need kids to help find one and then exchange it for a very special surprise! The Easter Bunny also hides two Golden Eggs redeemable for extra special surprises! After hunting for eggs, enjoy games, refreshments, crafts, face painting, petting zoo, and prizes. Registration required.

March 31: Lions Club Egg Hunt – Saint Louis Park | 10:00-11:00am Participants will hunt for candy and special eggs in separate age categories. Each participant will receive a special bag to collect their goodies. Bring your camera for a picture with the Park Bunny and Lions Club Lion! Prizes will be awarded for the coloring contest for ages 8 and under. Pick up a color sheet at The Rec Center or download it when you register. Bring your completed masterpiece to the event. The program is sponsored by the St. Louis Park Lions Club. The egg hunt will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m.

March 31: Kinderstube Easter Egg Hunt – St Paul | 11:00am The German Osterhase visits each year to bring masses of eggs filled with candy and tokens. Tokens can be exchanged for fun prizes and toys after the hunt at our Osterladen (Easter store). Come early and enjoy a special family-friendly European breakfast buffet. The hunt will go on rain or shine, so bring your rain boots if the weather is damp. And don’t forget a basket or bag!

March 31: Spring Egg Hunt – St Paul | 11:00am-2:00pm Head over the Hancock Recreation Center for candy, easter eggs, games, and possibly the Easter Bunny. Ages 6-12. FREE.

March 31: Easter Fun – Shakopee | 11:30-11:15am Peter Cotton Tail sniffs spring in the air and we’re having lots of fun with Easter stories & craft, plus a special Easter Egg Hunt in the Stans Garden! Registration required for supplies. FREE.

March 31: Victorian Egg Roll – Shakopee | 11:00am-4:00pm Join an egg and spoon race, bunny hop relay egg roll, and other authentic games of the 1800s. Make crafts, play with toys and games, and explore the Minnesota River Valley. Last entry at 3 PM. Drop-ins welcome. 

March 31: Spring Eggstravaganza: Rock Hunt – Victoria | 10:00am-2:30pm Bring baskets and hunt for colored rocks (ages 2-8) or secret messages (ages 8-adult). Trade rocks or decoded messages for goodies, and bring a camera for photos with a bunny character. Enjoy crafts, face painting and visit live animals. Hunts leave every 30 minutes with the last hunt leaving at 1:30 PM; all other activities are ongoing. 

March 31: Woodbury Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt | 10:00-11:00am All ages are welcome. We will be splitting the egg hunt into age brackets to allow all kids the opportunity to find eggs. The egg hunt will start at 10:00 am followed by Easter activities including photo opportunities, storytelling, treats, and more! There is no cost, this event is free and a gift to the community. FREE.

April 1: Easter Egg Hunt – Bloomington | 12:30-2:00pm Join the Bloomington Covenant Church for their community Easter egg hunt! Children ages birth through 12 are welcome to join in the fun. Bring your own baskets – hunt begins at 1pm. Stay afterward for Easter art, a candy walk, face painting and a bounce house! 
Fun and exciting raffle prizes will be given as well! FREE.

April 1: Best Egg Hunt Ever – Fridley and Maple Grove | 10:00-11:30am Passion Church hosts the Twin Cities’ largest and most successful Easter egg hunt. Their kids’ ministry will have 100,000 colorful, candy-filled plastic eggs, the Easter Bunny, Disney Princesses, Ironman & Superheroes, Passionkidz dollars for the kids’ store, and inspirational kids lessons & workshop ready for your children at the Maple Grove Senior High School and the Fridley Campus.

April 1: Egg Hunt – Northfield | 9:00am  Canvas Church is hosting an Easter celebration that includes music, bounce houses, candy, and an interactive Easter Story experience. While kids are enjoying the egg hunt all parents will join s for our Easter worship experience with live music and a powerful message in the auditorium. Geared towards 5th grade and younger. Register ahead of time to avoid long lines. 

April 1: Giant Easter Egg Hunt – St Paul | 12:00-1:00pm What happens when you combine 4000 eggs and treats with all your kids, nieces, and nephews? Incredible Easter fun. Stick around after service at Riverlife Church for a church-wide Easter egg hunt for the whole family. Kids, parents, aunts, uncles, and even grandparents all get to participate. It’ll be well-organized with kids released by age so that everybody, from the youngest to the oldest, gets to enjoy the fun. FREE.

March 11: Caring Bunny – Southdale Center | Times Vary Caring Bunny provides a subdued and welcoming environment for children with special needs and their families.

March 11 & 18: Sensitive Bunny – Maplewood Mall | Times Vary We’re glad to offer Sensitive Bunny visits this year, with considerations that will enhance your whole family’s opportunity to cherish this lasting memory. The event is presented in partnership with Autism Speaks and the Autism Society of Minnesota, whose mission is to enhance lives and accelerate solutions for families with special needs members. We’re taking unique considerations to offer your family a sensory-friendly environment, as we turn off fountains or radios and limit crowds.

March 18: Sensitive Bunny – Northtown Mall | Times Vary Individuals within every spectrum of special needs and their families are invited to a private photo session, to experience the time-honored tradition of a visit with the Easter Bunny during dedicated hours.

March 24: Adaptive Egg Hunt – Woodbury | 1:45pm A special egg hunt just for our friends with physical or cognitive challenges. Bring your own basket or bag to find the eggs hidden all around the playground! Participants will join in on an egg hunt, take photos with the spring bunny and complete a fun spring-themed craft. Please bring your own camera for photos with the bunny.
