A Taste of Minnesota
Where: Waconia Fairgrounds
When: July 2nd-5th
Activities: Live music, beer and wine tastings, blood drive, inflatable, pony rides, petty zoo, midway rides and fireworks.

Minneapolis Red, White & Boom
Where:
Downtown Minneapolis River Front
When:
Friday, July 3rd-Saturday July 4th
Activities:
A two-day celebration hosted by the Minneapolis Parks Board. Watch the 5k on Friday morning, the half-marathon on Saturday morning, enjoy great food, live music both evenings, a movie at 9pm on Friday, and all of it ends with fireworks at 10pm on Saturday!

Lake Minnetonka 4th of July Celebration
Where:
Commons Park in Excelsior
When:
Saturday, July 4th, 8am-Dark
Activities:
This is the only fireworks celebration on Lake Minnetonka!  A firecracker run, sand sculpture contest, kids’ parade, live music and fireworks at dusk.

Coon Rapids Ice Center

Lowell Park in Stillwater

7pm-Dusk
Activities:
Dakota Valley Pops Orchestra performance and choreographed fireworks over the river.

Activities:

Prior Lake’s 4th of July Celebration
Where:
Upper Prior Lake

July 4th, 1pm-Dark
Activities:  
Annual boat parade at 1pm, and a fireworks display on Lower Prior Lake usually after 10 p.m., providing excellent views from almost anywhere north or west of Lakefront Park.
