Apart from a couple colds accompanied by sinus and ear infections, we’ve stayed pretty healthy this winter avoiding the stomach bug and strep that everyone seems to be talking about. That is until I woke up one morning last week to my daughter freaking out because she had thrown up in her bed. The last cold of the season (as I ordered it to be) had taken a sinister turn. Long story short, despite no fever or complaints of a sore throat I took her in to be tested for strep (she was positive). I had heard it was going around, but when I saw the CROWD of people at the doctor’s office I realized just how bad this season’s germs were. As we waited to be called…for 40 minutes…we watched The Minion Movie. And as I watched them talk gibberish, act clumsy, and laugh at silly things I had an epiphany…my children were minions. Here are 10 ways that toddlers act exactly like minions:
- They speak gibberish.
- They lick everything.
- It’s not uncommon for them to be pantless.
- They laugh at silly things.
- They need to learn not to hit.
- They have temper tantrums.
- They’re clumsy.
- They can be annoying.
- They’re loud.
- They need to be loved.
