Football season is officially here. And for some, this might be the first time that you have a little one taking to the gridiron. When it comes to knowing what to pack in your football bag – we have a few suggestions that will help you be prepared, so that you can sit back and relax under those Friday Night Lights!
Football Survival Bag Essentials
For the Parents
- water bottle (we love the Stanley or a Hydroflask to keep water ice cold!)
- wet wipes
- hot hands
- first aid kit
- empty grocery sack
- waterproof athletic tape – (for taping fingers or fixing shoulder pads, cleats…)
- blanket
- umbrella
- travel cooler with snacks
- collapsable wagon
Other things to consider:
- bug spray
- instant cold pack
- extra mouth guards
- sunscreen
- tissues
For the Athletes
- an extra football
- gloves
- 2 water bottles (we keep one empty and always leave it in there just in case we forget ours)
- cleats
- sandals or slides (for after the game)
- flag belts (for flag football)
- absorbent towel
